Coronavirus

Whereas the US is now seriously cracking on after overcoming its initial handicap.

France and Italy too now.
Its just crazy, they seem to be taking no notice of the evidence at all, it all seems very panicky. There are no more cases of blood clots in people who have had the vaccine than the general public who haven't

The one they lost near the end of January?

Did something like 4.5m doses on Saturday and now on course to be offering jabs to all adults by May. With extra bonus of a shit load now being fully vaccinated in 1 dose

As it put earlier, actually been more cases in the Pfizer jab than the AZ one. For some reason they have decided to act the fucking idiot on this and it will cost a lot of lives

A few people got panicky when some of the test subjects had heart attacks. Except that the placebo group had more heart attacks and were in line with the normal general prevalence.

The Phizer vaccine has had almost as many incidents of blood clotting as well with a similar number of vaccines given (thouggh both are at miniscule levels) - to stop one & not they other on the same grounds makes no logical sense from a scientific point of view

There's no causal link between the vaccines and any of these extreme side effects anyway - you are at more risk of dying from Covid than any of these anyway.

As of today anyone over 50 can get the vaccine in TX. Wife has already booked ours for this Thursday.

Finally got my 65 yr old relative who hasn't had a call, text or letter to agree to phone her GP (helped that my son who had agreed to drive her there put his voice in as well) - won't know for a bit whether she has though.

I'm not sure how far behind us Europe is, but if there are pictures of a lockdown free UK in the summer whilst the rest of Europe are still lockdown there'll be some questions asked by people in those affected countries
Not sure how typical of the EU we are but of as last night.
1st jab 8.9% of the population
2and jab 3.3%

4 times as many Pzifer then AZ used.

Just been jabbed and although I'm not high risk I feel quite emotional. I think it's the number of volunteers giving their time up to help the community that's done it
Yeah when me and the missus went, the volunteers and the staff were first class...my missus was a bit nervous but she was fine

Was vaccinated at midday yesterday. Went to bed in the evening as normal. Woke up 2am shivering and what would be described as typical flu like symptoms. Very tired but could not sleep. Was still awake when the good lady wife woke at 6.00am. Mild shivers and absolutely knackered but still unable to sleep. Absolutely no chance of going to work/getting up etc etc. Got out of bed at 8.30 and completely back to normal by 9.00!
The whole thing was quite bizarre. I guess the only advice to others would be keep the following day free just in case!

Tony will be along in a minute to give his verdict on Pablo’s theory.

Sounds like Mr Cummings is going to throw a lot of people under a covid bus today. Hancock the main target

He's in front of the science committee today. I would imagine that his appearance at the health select committee might be more explosive although he has already criticised the Health Department in this one.

Was amusing hearing him say that the programme was delayed as the majority of politcal time was taken by "dealing the Brexit problem". Well, by amusing, I mean sickening.
