Is there a chance some staff could be redeployed again as in the 1st lockdown?

Hi This is highly likely and more staff redeployed than in the fist wave

Might be of use to some or if you know someone who could use some extra data

Vaccination updates will start next Monday

Currently 1.3m have received the vaccine

"By February 15, the NHS is committed to offer a jab to everyone in the top four priority groups, Mr Johnson adds - reiterating a pledge he announced yesterday.

To help meet that target, 595 GP-led sites are providing vaccines with 180 coming on stream later in the week. With hospitals also helping, there will be nearly 1,000 locations administering jabs by the end of the week.

Next week seven vaccination centres will open in sports stadiums and exhibition centres, Mr Johnson announces."

I can report panic buying in Morrisons Pendeford. Barely any fresh meat or herbs on the shelves and bog roll has been decimated.

There are clearly a lot of morons about.

Unfortunately Johnson reminds me of me when I’m bullshitting my way through another failure to deliver on time / correctly. I like to think I’m better at it though.

Herd immunity before the vaccine even gets going!
The next few weeks are going to be awful, worse than anything we've seen so far. If this lockdown doesn't reduce case numbers then we're in real trouble.

But on the bright side, we're vaccinating more and more people every day, theoretically every infection is a step closer to herd immunity, the days are getting longer so more UV to kill the virus

(Finally) Sainsburys will be reverting to April level customer numbers from start of business tomorrow. Should have been from Lockdown Two imo. I suspect other supermarkets will do similar as our CEO is additionally writing to customers so I think they'll do a joint letter as they did in March.

Had panic buying today mostly milk, water and pasta. Might be different where you are but in Lockdown One I found everything I needed in corner shops and "off licenses" its only the big four, the German discounters and Co-op which got obliterated. These morons are too thick to see the smaller places.
