Coronavirus

(Finally) Sainsburys will be reverting to April level customer numbers from start of business tomorrow. Should have been from Lockdown Two imo. I suspect other supermarkets will do similar as our CEO is additionally writing to customers so I think they'll do a joint letter as they did in March.

Had panic buying today mostly milk, water and pasta. Might be different where you are but in Lockdown One I found everything I needed in corner shops and "off licenses" its only the big four, the German discounters and Co-op which got obliterated. These morons are too thick to see the smaller places.
Niche Derby reference, but the Polish shops in Normanton had everything in Lockdown 1, when the chattering classes were screaming about flour they had loads.

I do my big shop at your Osmaston store, I thought in LD1 they were great, although queueing outside when tbe weather was nice wasn't much of a hardship, been a free for all since

Our local shops always have everything when it comes to the basics. Didn’t panic the first time, won’t panic this time. It’s not like we’re going to starve or not be able to wipe our arse in a couple of weeks. I bet the same people who were trying to return bog roll in May are the same ones buying tons of it now.

As somebody who was actively looking to pack them in pre-covid they've been incredible throughout the pandemic and really looked after the staff with PPE and financially but my big gripe has been the customer numbers. The Westfield store went from 30 to 184 customers allowed in overnight, and as I've said before my tiny Convenience store went from 5-15. Managing the customer numbers could have been staged much better to prevent said free for all.

Got my vaccine booked for later in this month. Hoping might be able to get sooner via New Cross though.

Big vaccination unit in Bridgnorth being told by government to not do anymore doses after Friday until the lockdown has ended. Now this sounds the most stupid thing in the world, but this is the government we are talking about.

I take it you fall into one of the Top 4 bands Johnson was hopeful of completing by mid Feb?

HCW in primary care. They haven’t contacted me though, it’s more because the boss gets the info first as he works in secondary care also so he’s sent the link to all the staff so we can book on. So everyone at my workplace is doing that.

However some of my colleagues have managed to arrange it via their GP but when I rang my GP they didn’t have a clue what I was on about and said it’s all through NHS england. Why some GPs know what’s going on and others don’t, who knows.

I fucking hate this fat cunt so much. He's one of the worst people on the planet.

I like the first paragraph.

I had to re-read the second paragraph about 10 times to make sure I hadn't misunderstood. That sounds absolutely insane to not give out doses if they have them

Oh Saunders, all day every day.

But that's no endorsement of Fat Al.

They have to give them out if they have them, shelf life would demand it I guess.

Sounds more like they don’t have enough and are prioritising other areas.

Tomorrow we are set to get the more detailed plan. So presume that will list all the places that will be vaccination centres for this roll out.

Also see over 3m doses are currently delayed as the independant batch testing is struggling to keep up

Yes I don’t know the reason for stopping, but will try to find out more.

Got to travel to Coventry for the vaccine but hopefully with a bit of luck New cross will get back to us in the next few days and then we can cancel it.

What about the height difference? Where are we shooting?
There is only 2cm difference. A good angled head shot from close range will do the job
