Coronavirus

They are not. They will be okay. The 1% of the 1% have orchestrated this and the rest of the 1% will fall in line to save their wealth. They gained complete control through consumerism, consumerism is now defunct and now it's time to depopulate. See Bill Gates and his vaccines for details. Capitalism has a surplus. See his latest patents it is truly frightening what we are descending into. Nobody gives a damn - see WT7 for details.

Life will never be the same again.

It's a virus with no vaccination. You will see complete economic collapse if you don't take into account 80% suffer none or mild symptoms. Prepare for complete economic collapse.

Why would we see economic collapse? Fatality rates are around 0.5%, I doubt the rates will overwhelm the NHS.

The only thing I can see causing economic collapse is if we had a total lockdown for months with no one working.

The virus doesn't affect people of working age the way something like the Spanish flu did

This press conference from Johnson is terrible. He comes across as a bumbling idiot, waffling any old shit and ignoring the point.

Laura K says it’s absolutely clear now. She’s clearly been watching something completely different to me.

It wasn't a mandate for Johnson or the Conservatives it was about restoring complete accountability to Westminster. It decentralised from corporate control. The people took back control and we still need leaders to emerge.

That’s a load of shit

Ha ha Branson blinked first

"Sir Richard Branson has agreed to sell shares worth around $500m (£405m) in his Virgin Galactic space business to raise funds for his struggling airline and leisure businesses, PA reports.
The businessman, who has previously suggested he would be willing to remortgage his private Caribbean island to raise funds, said the cash would be reinvested into firms including Virgin Atlantic.
Announcing the plans via the New York Stock Exchange, Virgin Group said it would sell 25m shares via Credit Suisse, with the process expected to cost the business $167,000.
The shares, sold via Branson’s British Virgin Islands-based shell company Vieco 10, account for around a fifth of the billionaire’s stake in the space tourism business."

That’s no different from last week.

London infection rates should be through the roof then, but I believe our scientists think London has the lowest R in the country

It doesn't make sense to me

This is just like listening to Winston Churchill speak. Such clarity, decisiveness and leadership!

Oh wait...

Sounds like you are all having fun over there!

We are into stage 2 of our reopening. Most retail shops can be open, as can hairdressers, nail salons, and restaurants - but at 25% capacity. We are supposed to wear masks in close proximity to others, but I have no idea how mandatory that is - except that if I drive north to the next town there are no mask requirements but maybe there are in shops. In other words we have no clue. And the state of Texas will not enforce its own guidelines because freedumb. In SA some bars that serve meals are now claiming to be restaurants in order to reopen, and are gradually being closed down again but we all know that the owners will not be jailed for refusal to pay fines.

Now I cannot believe I am saying this, but to be fair to Boris, lil' donny, and government officials everywhere - this confusion is absolutely unavoidable. We have never been through a situation quite like this and there is no way that distancing, opening/closing, mask/glove wearing etc rules can be drawn up at a moments notice. Not when these rules are expected to be complete, accurate, fair to everyone, and when our knowledge of the virus is constantly changing. That doesn't mean the guidelines and regulations shouldn't be made clearer, but we cannot expect any government to have an answer for every person and situation.

Will catch up with the fat bastard's witterings properly later (busy with Euro 96 right now) but just seen this on Twitter:

Schools: Social distancing if you can but if not ah well. No need for staff to wear PPE. It would be funny if it wasn't criminal.
