EP and Darlo are as red as you get.

Objection, your honour

1. Everything is political. Always annoys me when people talk about not politicising things like they exist in a vacuum. They don't.

2. Scrutinizing the govt doesn't mean you are a socialist. It means you are a concerned citizen. No time for those that suggest we get behind them because it's a crisis as if it's a bloody football match.

3. The govts initial approach to this was wrong. Many called it out as such and were met with responses like 'trust them' and they're being 'guided by the science'. The govt have since abandoned their policy and gone the other way. I'm relieved they have but their delay has cost lives so forgive me if I don't queue up to give them a fucking medal.

.

You’ve spent years supporting *everything* Corbyn says or does exactly as if he were a football team.

A good friend of ours has just lost his Dad. Died in his sleep overnight and found by his neighbours this morning as they could hear his phone ringing and ringing and feared the worst.
No idea if it is Corona related or not but dealing with a death is bad enough in normal times but he can't visit family or have people over to check on him or help him. Heartbroken for him and will now be stuck in his apartment dealing with this on his own.

Sorry to hear this mate. Tragic.

So nothing about the tests then?

Seems to me a lot of folks need to take their red specs off. It does seem socialists attack the government at every opportunity for the sake of it without realising what they are typing is tosh or even thinking about it.

Twitter is the same at the moment. That's not to say you should believe everything you see by the way, which is usually the next thing in the red handbook.

No problem with the tests but how about acknowledging that all the the fawning over the government doing less than the basic, essential things to combat what is currently happening is a joke.
Since 2010 this government have either closed or severely downgraded hospitals in SIXTY towns/cities across the UK so bravo to them for opening 3 "field hospitals".
Forgive me for remembering all the harm they have done in the last ten years and not throwing a huge party in praise of the new Winston Churchill

That's really sad Kenny. Condolences to your friend, it's not a nice thing to have to go through.

Its the most horrible of times, people compare the situation to a war, imo its worse, can't see what you're fighting, or how to, people passing away with no family member able to hold their hand or comfort them or even say goodbye properly, can't imagine how you ever grieve

Was talking to my daughter this morning, she works for the HSE, she was saying how busy she's been at work this week (she works in admin as P.A to a senior manager in social care) one thing she mentioned was a care home in Dublin where 40 of the patients there have Covid-19, numerous staff have also got it and they have no PPE. Based on that I don't see any major improvement here in the short term.

260 additional deaths, putting us up to 1019. 34% increase

I guess the question is, is this more contagious or more deadly than our models predicted it would be?

In this case it is very clear they are socialist. EP and Darlo are as red as you get.

Most of the time not as PQ will happily attest to.

In what case?

For criticising 10 years of under funding the NHS? Is that what makes someone a socialist to you?

HSE or HSA?

I had a load of stuff up for sale on eBay. I cancelled all the listings before they ended and got a warning from eBay I might have to still pay final seller fees.

Wel if you had sold things you'll still have to pay the final fees.
With work and personal i had around 2000+ listings that i ended..i have a store, paying a monthly fee for work, ebay said they will defer one months shop fee (seeing as nothings actually being listed) however they have said any new business can have a store with 3 months deferred??!?!.. Wtf?.so out of fucking touch.
