if you are over 60 you have a 1.6% chance of dying if you contract covid 19. Latest stats from the chinese show. (they are also the worst case scenario)Over 80 with a pre existing health condition like respiratory disease or heart disease and it rises to 14.5%

Under 60 its under 1%.

I will take those chances and continue about my world , washing my hands after I pee, before I eat, after I eat and use my home prepared dettol spray disinfectant 1 part to 100 which killed the last known strain of covid according to dettol and industry figures.

but that is true of any flu like virus. Flu kills every year. The difference with this strain is that as it is new the body has no built up immunity. You are going to be exposed at some point .Regardless of any measures taken.

US Republican lawmakers to self-quarantine
Two members of President Trump's Republican party, Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, said on Sunday they would self-quarantine as they were both exposed to an infected person at a recent conservative political event.

Neither lawmaker has been confirmed to have Covid-19, but they both spoke and shook hands with the affected individual (who is now in hospital) at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) at the end of last month.

President Trump and Vice-President Pence also both attended the conference, but neither interacted with the infected person.

However, at CPAC, the president shook hands with the chairman of the American Conservative Union who did have direct contact with the individual, putting Mr Trump two degrees of separation away from the coronavirus.

A flu jab is only ever effective against a maximum of 60%. So whilst I take your point there is still a risk each year every year. The increased advice about personal hygiene will help the dirty skanks who think washing their hands is a criminal offence and basically if you keep good personal hygiene you dramatically reduce your risk.
