I may end up in the healthcare system, rocking, dribbling and in a straight jacket it I have to do this for more than a couple of months.
Possibly just gossip but apparently a security guard from new Cross has died through covid-19. In his 30s,no underlying health issues
That was from my sister who works there
I have spent today getting annoyed at my neighbours.....STAY THE FUCK IN!! STOP HAVING VISITORS! If this 3 weeks get extended I am fire bombing the fuckers
Important stuff. That's actually great news.
As I have been furloughed and Squeeze is doing her bit I am going to apply for the NHS volunteer idea tomorrow. I have a car. I have no symptoms. I can deliver medicines and food to those who have been shielded. It seems the least I can try to do.
My drive to work and back seemed to be almost as normal (for school holidays) and the car parks on our industrial estate were full. Spent the morning waiting for some sort of announcement to tell us what was going on...I was getting grumpier by the minute. Eventually at about 10 am production manager went round telling everyone we had an order come in making bits for ventilators, so thats me in work for at least 9 days

Changes everything in what way, I wonder?University of Oxford reckon 50% of people in the UK have already been infected. Sounds absolutely wrong but if it's true it changes everything and those Oxford lot are known for being fairly bright

There's been some talk stateside that we actually had our peak back in December... But it's taken with the biggest grain of salt possible. It means we're not far away from the peak and the amount of people left to infect becomes less than the immune so transmission rates start to drop
It kinda means it could all be over a lot quicker than anyone thought.
