Chelsea 3-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Look staying up this season isn’t a long term reprieve, more a stay of execution.
Our moronic owners won’t head the warning signs with great fucking bells on them.
The last remaining bit of an attacking quality we have will leave and be replaced by a project players.
ie Neto leaves we bring in Forbs type of situation

He's so weak in the challenge. Mentally and physically. Further, he's not quick enough, not skillful enough, and not strong enough for this level. Just because Sarabia wasn't great doesn't mean Guedes was better. He wasn't.

Joao Gomes (and, when he came on, Rodrigo Gomes) were our only players to come out with any real credit today. Genuinely feel like we need two new centre halves and an attacking player to stay up.
Could add Agbadou to the paltry list. Well, maybe not credit, but he looked like he could do a decent job at least.

My criticism is needlessly leaving the area right in front of the goalscorer to mark someone who is already being marked. It's the kind of thing Kilman did. Passed away any responsibilty for defending that back post and shoved himself up the arse of a player which does absolutely bugger all to stop anything.
Marking space rather than players is something we've done all season, and it's shit.

RAN did neither and sauntered back 5 yards behind the goalscorer from the half way line, it's terrible.

Pretty grim although thought Agbadou looks a real player. He must be wondering what the hell he’s got himself into. Joao Gomes our MoM, and as for Cunha, thought his body language was telling. When the second (I think it was) went in he looked back as if to say ‘why do I fucking bother’ and seemed to clock off from the on.
Chelsea weren’t great but had a level of quality we just don’t have and quite soon the outcome felt inevitable. Not too down on Vitor as we need to get the wins against the strugglers and he’s done so this far.
Got a horrible feeling we’ll rue those wasted games against some weaker teams flogging the GoN dead horse but we live in hope.

Yep. It's all about the games against Southampton, Everton, Ipswich and Leicester and picking up the odd point elsewhere.

Appauld those who went. Thankfully after Newcastle last week my dwindling annual leave allowance prevented me from attending tonight.

Desperately dismal performance, which is going to end up in a shootout with Ipswich by the look of things.

If Mario doesn’t get his move. Can anyone see him playing a part in the remainder of the season?

Worryingly easy to play against from the very start. And borderline farcical at times.

Not sure what to think. We have so many weak players. Have to pray Ipswich lose to Southampton in a couple of weeks when they play them.

Agbadou needs to be on the right, he did ok but still looks a bit awkward - not sure how signing Diego Carlos would help that though.

Guedes was pathetic when he came on. The difference compared to Rodrigo and his effort is embarrassing.

Cunha didn’t look fit. He could barely sprint which meant we carried little threat on the break.

Joao Gomes is fucking brilliant

Fuck Fosun

While what Vitor says about Cunha is probably true he needs to be careful how he handles this situation he can't just keep going in 2 footed as if he pisses Cunha off we are truly fucked. At the moment we are probably 50/50 but if Cunha is disinterested or leaves we are gone.

The only game I’d really fancy us to win for the rest of the season is Leicester. I think the likes of Brentford, Palace and Bournemouth are well organised and that’s all you need to score goals against us. If we played Saints or Ipswich I’d take a draw at the moment. The only thing that saves us is bringing in a couple of players that hit the ground running.
