Chelsea 3-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

I'm not seeing what you did with Guedes. He showed 10 times more effort than Sarabia did, linked up with Rodrigo and tried to get the ball into the box as often as possible. I've seen dozens of worse sub performances than that.

He has to start on the right next game because the other options don't bear thinking about. I'll take effort, energy, and actually making forward runs, over ambling about doing fuck all like the rest of them do.
You’re very much dealing in smallest dwarf territory, if Guedes is a better option in the PL then it’s a sign of how much trouble we’re in.

Its pitiful from RAN on Cucarella's goal.
I think it's much worse from Doc personally. By the time Doherty has pointlessly wandered away from where Cucurella scores from, the cross is in and RAN doesn't have any time to adjust his position, especially since he's busy covering another player at the back post.

But just like Sarabia, when you start these players they're usually invisible, ineffective, or a liability.

Did you just see the analysis? RAN just slows down, Doc is actually marking someone, hes touch tight.

RAN DOES have time, he needs to mark the more dangerous player in that instance and that's Cuca not Neto.

RAN takes no responsibility at all.

I wonder how the players feel when a good transfer like Manu falls through?

Probably similar to us.

We need a good positive signing (or two) to give everyone a lift.
Shouldn’t if he’s in your position it should lift you, if it gets you down in the dumps then it points to more weakness mentally.
Whilst you’re in the thick of things it would even come into your thinking.

I’ve long felt Fosun weren’t too bothered about relegation as they’d sell, sell, sell to recoup their investment but the way things are going, with the obvious exception of Cunha, the value of the squad is plummeting by the week. To sell you need buyers and they’re not going to be forming an orderly queue. They’d be better off speculating on a CH and at least making an attempt to avoid relegation.

Reactions: Doc
Defensively shit, opposition must think they've won the lottery when playing us.

Larson can't hold a ball up, Cunha needs to decide if he's signing the contract as he's turning a real pre madonna, took him 5 minutes to saunter back into position from one of his corners, then berates everyone in old gold.

Another defender in and midfielder as we offer fuck all if Cunha on one of his off days.

This is what, our seventh season at this level now?.....and look at the players we are bringing off the bench in the second half, deary me. We may stay up because there might, repeat might still be three teams worse than us, but I dont really feel like we belong at this level anymore.
One definitely worse than us, and two maybes. Everton will do what Everton do and scrape together enough points to stay clear. No other teams anywhere near as bad as us. Seven seasons and we've learned nothing about how to run a club. Watching the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham... etc. making it look comfortable really puts things into perspective.

Effort, you're having a laugh.

Look at him on Jackson's disallowed goal. Weaker than Liz Truss's grasp of economics and then gives up. He is fucking awful.
I think you mean the grasp of economics we are getting from Rachel Reeves & the pathetic Labour clowns. Get up to date.

I think it has some impact, a negative one. If he's not in your position you want better players to come in.

Professional or not, these things all have an effect, whether it's the captaincy (Lemina) or transfers falling through, it effects mentality.

And yes, plenty of our players are weak mentally.

And on a different note, if we sell Lemina that'll have been 4 consecutive captains sold. Coady, Kilman, Neves and Lemina.

Awesome.

We looked good going forwards against Bristol and Newcastle with Guedes starting. Sarabia comes in and we are absolute dogshit again with him walking around passing the ball backwards.

I won't defend Guedes' defensive contributions because he's never going to be that player as he isn't good enough at that side of the game.

Kilman and Lemina were never captain material.
Injuries have a far more negative impact on sides than a none signing.
