Best holiday destinations

We are pretty excited yeah, honestly this is a more of a "this is where you are from trip" more than anything, kids were 7 & 9 when we moved, they say they remember stuff bout Wolvo, but we wanna show them where we used to live, the trashy next door neighbours (with the pink golf cart!), the sights of old London town, a few Wolves games, Black Country Museum, The Pie factory and of course the scampering around every relative possible in 12 days!

The scampering around every relative possible in 12 days is the hardest part. It's difficult, to try to see everyone in such a short space of time. For those relatives and friends that you don't get to see, some are more understanding than others.

I reckon I can get my 1 friend in allowing me ample time for the nieces and nephews! lol

Booked next years holiday last night...our first ever family trip to Butlins!

As a couple who went on cultured European city breaks before becoming parents, this is going to be a totally new experience for us but I am actually really excited about it. The kids are going to have a great time.

Butlins is ace, not bias or anything, but I did used to work there when I was in my early 20's.

Berlin in a couple of weeks with my girlfiend. Still trying to convince her to let me visit the Olympiastadion...

This time tomorrow we'll be settling in to our holiday cottage in Duncannon, Wexford...Can't wait. Done some online checking and the pub is 100 yards from the house and the restaurant is 200 yards...Both have real ales/beers I've not had yet so should be good

It's easy on the underground, we didn't even pay!

Great ground as well, from what I remember you use your ticket to get into like a square around the ground rather than the stadium itself, which is just all open around the outside rather than closed in concourses.

Can't remember much else, just drank beer in whatever place he stumbled across and then eat quite a lot of kebabs on the way home.

The Olympiastadion is superb. Has to be done.

Just leave her to go for a swim in the pool outside. Sorted.

Berlin is one of my fav cities. Although we got no-where near visiting the Olympiastadion but think we did every bar in the city!

If yam going by train go to the U-Bahn station instead of the S-Bahn, reason being that the walk from the U-Bahn to the ground has it looming right in front of you..

Just got back from a week in Bournemouth and had a great time. We've been there two years in a row now and hopefully we'll get to go back again.

Been at least once a year for the last 25 years, my father in law has a place there, what do you want to know ?

This year we are doing a week in Devon and a week in Cornwall with the dog!

Looking forward to it as much as Florida.

I think I'm having a week in Majorca with my folks and my kids. It'll be my kids' first proper holiday for 3 years.

Might go somewhere with the girlfriend for a bit of sun in late summer as well.
