Going to Iceland in a few days

... but if they've not got what I want I'll pop next door to Farmfoods.

Bournemouth is ACE. My brother and family are there now. Good fish and chips.

We went there last year for the first time and really enjoyed it. It was our first ever family British seaside holiday. It also helped that it was the week the weather was scorchio.

Well if everyone else is doing it, I may as well join in...19 days until Bournemouth (not quite as exotic as the others!)
Head down the coast a bit to Southbourne beach. More beautiful than the town beach and much less busy due to being at the bottom of a steep cliff. Easy to get to but too much effort for the lazies.

Just got back from Dalyan in Turkey. Stayed in the plush private villa that our Turkish office has built. Free to employees so a right result.

Dalyan itself is lovely. Nicest place I've been in Turkey. Probably helped that it was really quiet due to the political situation.

We stayed in Boscombe last year (which is next to Southbourne beach I think) but we're the other way this year, closer to Poole. The in-laws are taking us so we go where they tell us to go!

You can head to Sandbanks, do a bit of Redknapp spotting.

25 days until the South of Italy for me!

Nothing wrong with Bournemouth. Though it is a few years since I went there, it was a very nice place to visit, and the weather was often favourable.

Not quite as exotic as Bournemouth, but 126 days till our holiday in...

Wolverhampton! :D

Great init :) 119 days for me until i'll be visiting exotic destinations like

Costa del Bilbrook
Medina de Molineux
Palma de Pendeford
Fuentes de Fordhouses
Playa del Blackpool
Concil de la Coseley

And guaranteed to be pissing it down at everyone :)

Can't blinking wait :)

Lovely :)

How come you chose Zambia to build your house?
Yes can't wait!

I used to live there and my wife is Zambian. Managed to get a land very cheap a few years ago and then took years to actually build the house.

I think i'd want to move back there permanently. Well worth the wait though I bet. Enjoy it.

Did you build it yourself? Whether you did or not is irrelevant, you must be really looking forward to your new venture. I wish you all the very best.

Thanks. No, building is beyond me! I did the layout, but that's all. Been back a few times since we've started building, but this will be the first time staying there.

Didn't have time to list the 102 pubs on me 'To Do List ' :icon_lol:

For this being your first time back, I can't imagine how looking forward to it you must be.

For me, exactly 119 days and 7 hours to go :icon_lol:

We are pretty excited yeah, honestly this is a more of a "this is where you are from trip" more than anything, kids were 7 & 9 when we moved, they say they remember stuff bout Wolvo, but we wanna show them where we used to live, the trashy next door neighbours (with the pink golf cart!), the sights of old London town, a few Wolves games, Black Country Museum, The Pie factory and of course the scampering around every relative possible in 12 days!
