Villa and Bournemouth for me too, just for the giggles

It’s genuinely an impossible choice :icon_lol:

I dislike all the clubs involved. Would go West Ham and Bournemouth (although I really don’t like Watford). But then if Albion come up next season I don’t really want two local derbies, so really Villa have to bugger off. So I’ve arrived at Villa and Bournemouth.

I went Villa and West Ham. They would both suffer horribly. Bournemouth can go next season. In an ideal world Norwich would turn into Bayern Munich and get enough to stay up so Bournemouth could drop as well but a little bit of realism is needed at times.

This. Bournemouths squad is crap and they won’t have much money to improve it, so the likelihood is that they will finish bottom next year anyway. Villa and West Ham will be able to strengthen if they stay up, and despite the fact their recruitment strategies are shite, they might fluke some decent players or a decent manager. If they go down they are screwed.

I don't like any of them so it's a no-lose situation for me...but I've gone Villa and Bournemouth.

Villa need putting back in their box a bit, they were convinced that they were back last summer and they'd just be the best team in the Midlands again. Sorry boys, no. A deluded fanbase and I can't abide Grealish. No fun at all to watch either, either look hopelessly out of their depth when they try to play in an open style so nothing is ever even a contest, or sub-Mick 2010 football which isn't even effective at what it's supposed to do.

Bournemouth are just a horrible team, offer no value to the league as they can never develop from where they are, matchbox sized ground which means we can't take a proper following, it needs to be underlined just how deeply average Eddie Howe is and what cynical zero sum football they play. Quite a good chance that like Wigan, they'll never come back.

Watford...that was our own fault we lost at Wembley. Deeney, Holebas and Foster are arseholes but no strong views on anyone else there, they're all pretty old too so won't be around much longer.

West Ham, as much as I loathe the Pornodwarves and Baroness "I vote to cut poor people's benefits" Brady, and I'll never go to their crappy athletics stadium...those three are idiots and they're never going to get anywhere while they own the club, which will be for some time to come as they won't put it on the market at a fair price. So zero threat to us, a load of comedy as they inevitably stuff it up any time they have to make a decision, Mark Noble still running their midfield when he's 74 and six easy points for us every season.

I've gone for Villa and Bournemouth.

Part of me would like Villa to stay up because i like the local rivalry and there is an atmosphere at the games but i think they have the capacity to improve more than the others imo and i can't stand them after the Championship season and their current squad and management just screams dickheads. So on balance they can go and hopefully stay in the Championship for a good few years.

I think Watford and West Ham are what they are and i don't think they're a threat at all, West Ham will always be the same as they are right now and i think Watford are pretty much the same.

Bournemouth are the team i most want to drop, i can't stand them. Eddie Howe is a fraud and their dark arts mastery is annoying as fuck, horrible little club. It's also as a silver away season ticket holder still a pain to get a ticket to the away game and impossible to get my dad one so if we never play them again it will be too soon.

Watford is an alright place. A bit dumpy but hardly Beirut.

It's no Stoke on Trent, I'll give you that. I had to stay there once years ago on business. Left a lasting impression of anonymity, if that isn't an oxymoron.

Villa - Know a lot of Villa fans and they can be right arrogant c*nts. Literally at the start of the season they were convinced they’d be doing what Sheffield United are doing now.

Bournemouth - sick of the notion “look at little old Bournemouth doing well in the Premier League”. Shit ground, dirty team, diving fuckers & literally offer nothing to the league apart from occassionally winning at the big teams

Exactly this.

I went for Villa and Bournemouth.

Villa - bored of the 'rivalry'

Bournemouth - cannot abide them and hope they never come back up again. A stain on the Premier League

I have no love for either West Ham or Watford and wouldn't exactly be sad to see them go down, but as others have said, I can't see them being as much of a threat. It was tough choosing Villa over West Ham, because the thought of seeing the Pornodwarves and Brady sobbing on the final day makes me smile. Vile individuals.

Villa and Bournemouth.

Watching Bournemoth with no crowd noise is probably the nail in the coffin. Cheating bellends.

All three of WHU/Villa/Bournemouth would be in big trouble if they went down. West Ham less so but Bournemouth would have the EFL to answer to regards over-spending for promotion, and Villa would have to sell everything to stay afloat.

Bournemouth don't have the resources to improve and would likely go down next year any way (With West Brom hopefully).

Villa and West Ham are still my choices just to see their squads gutted and their finances crumble.

Nah, I think that's overstated.

Bournemouth paid a fine to the EFL, the rules were farcical but that should be done and dusted. Villa are unlikely to face significant sanctions and the owners are plenty rich enough, West Ham need their squad gutting anyway.

Villa and Bournemouth. I've hated Villa since 1998 when I started work with a proper bellend fan and was stuck with him lording it over me for seven years. Now I'm lumbered with another fucker. On top of that exactly what Dan said a few posts back. As for Bournemouth I hate their shit ground, I detest Howe and the bizarre love in over him for ages and I hate his fucking dirty tactics. On top of that the whole team is shit and abysmal to watch.

If only VAR had checked that Sheffield United ghost goal against Villa. They’d have gone down

Does VAR insist that the score stays unchanged for the rest of the game when it makes a ruling?

If anyone at Villa has an ounce of sense they’ll be sitting down today to assess what went wrong, if you’re getting less points than games you’ve played you have serious issues. They shouldn’t be fooled by the last 4 games, yes they’ve done well but the opposing sides have all been on the beach in reality apart from Arsenal but even then only had remote chance of EL.

Wouldn't surprise me if their owners see a 'name' manager as the solution like they did when they bought the club and tried to get Henry

Portuguese press seem to think Bruno Lage has been lined up to takeover. The only player I can see them losing is Grealish the rest won’t be appealing to many other clubs.
As said 35 points from 38 games isn’t good enough, People are eulogising over Smith this morning but apart from the last 4 games he’s been proven to be tactically nieve for most parts.

Who would pay the money Villa would want for him? Utd probably would but he'd be a squad player now they've got Fernandes. I think he'll stay there as people have finally woken up to what he actually does as opposed to what they think he does
