With 4 @ the back and the captain at right back I wouldn't bother though. He's now picked him to play right wing and left back when we know he's not up to much in either position

I'm not having a go at him by any measure, this is the absolute limit of my expectations in that position so far. Don't make any ridiculous errors, try properly, don't get caught up the pitch and have no chance of getting back. It's all you'll ever get. When Ireland get the ball at the back here, he's about 50 yards deeper than he is for Wolves and on the wrong side, it's nonsense.
