Wolves / Covid-19

I'm sure most football clubs budget on cash forecasts before the season. Unless SKY etc renegade on contractual payments there would be no need to cut their wages. It's the advertisers who are ultimately hit and the gambling parasites. Going forward I can see the money flowing out of football though. If FOSUN get itchy feet it may get interesting for our beloved club.

The PL issue is foreign tv money who are threatening to not pay. No product, no money

Last time I went over to villa talk, they thought if the season was voided they'd be in Europe due to being the only runners up in a completed cup competition

Did anyone see the tweet by the Villa full kit wanker the other day?

Stood in a room in his house with the "Europa League music" playing...applauded to all sides of his room, picked up his football and "trotted to his goal".... Like fucking weird man!!

Liverpool the latest club to put staff on furlough and use government cash to pay the wages

That's Liverpool, Bournemouth, Spurs, Norwich and Newcastle, I think

You have to apply to the scheme and the hope is that a payout will come out the end of the month. I hope that the government throws out all claims from Premier League clubs.

I suppose sometimes you do have to walk alone then.

Karius and Adrian will attest to that. Well, they were told to die alone, I suppose there's a difference.

Liverpool realise the huge PR disaster the decision was and make a u-turn

Let’s hope people focus more on the 2 shitheads at spurs.

And the fucking arseholes at Norwich, Bournemouth and the particularly vile scum bag owner of Newcastle.

None of those are ‘quite’ as profitable as Spurs, neither are Liverpool for that matter. It’s interesting that all the London based media focused on Liverpool though.

Stoked for this even though I know what happens!

I hope somewhere in Devon at FT, Neil Warnock walks round his house telling his family to fuck off

It's better without commentary - just the chat with the match going on in that the same time
