Watched this - a pleasure to watch an England team playing good football. Playing as a team & working to a proper plan
Foden looked more than a bit useful.
MGW aquitted himself well without being outstanding - some very intelligent runs off the ball to open space up at the front and a couple of times a quicker release of the ball would have put him in on goal
Won't be able to watch the final as up at the QPR match then

Whilst no one has an Issue with the likes of Aguero, Jota, Neves, and the top quality players coming in, but it's the cheap players that are stunting the growth of home grown players that really irks......
any number of teams in the Prem, and indeed in the Championship are littered with them.....
And he will get his chance. He may have to be patient for it, but by all accounts Nuno rates him doesn't he?
I'd say that assessment is at least 20 years out of date, probably more.
Have a look at Stoke's squad (and they're currently not very good, and don't really play any of their own youth), what "cheap" foreign players do they have? They're all fairly high profile.
Underage football is not that reliable an indicator. James Ward-Prowse looked a world beater for the U21s. He's deeply average when you put him in a proper game. Have a look at Zeli Ismail closer to home.
