Wolves 3-0 Leicester: Verdict Thread

You're not alone in thinking that. As good as Neves and Moutinho were (at the time, possibly the two best players of my life), they were similar in too many ways.

Both of them would complement our current pairing but if you want high energy, covering every blade of grass and drive from your midfield the Portuguese pair are way off our Brazilian brace.

Gomes and André are the midfield we've always needed in my near forty years following Wolves, they're special.
It’s an interesting convo, especially as we had back to back 7ths with the former.

I’m not really sure where I stand. Probably plump for neves and mouts still as over a longer period and more successful.

It’s almost like a different version of the nuno/vitor debate

For me, Strang Larsen's play wasn't a mistake. He simply received an unexpected pass at stomach height. He had to control it and react by shooting as quickly as possible with his left leg (which isn't his strong foot) because there was a defender right next to him. From the control to the shot, he didn't even let the ball touch the ground. He had to react quickly.

Looking at the image, it's clear that he couldn't shoot at that height. He had to control it and shoot as quickly as possible because there was a defender in front of him.

Can't remember who, but someone mentioned Hermanson as a potential replacement for Sa.

Not for me, poor distribution and dived like Sam Johnstone.

Although in fairness he's probably got shell-shock.

Hermansen had a great start to the season until he got injured. Then his form dropped off after he came back. To be honest having a calamity like Out Faes in front of you can't help either.
