Wolves 3-0 Leicester: Verdict Thread

Cheers bud. I've got about 2 more hours on the train till I'm home...

IMO he comes out to force Vardy into a decision. If he just stays still it's a simple finish. Sa comes out but only so far to avoid the foul. Vardy is very experienced and knows the ref will probably buy a bit of 'gamesmanship'.

As comfortable as I thought it'd be.

Wolves were a bit casual at times in possession but in saying that the three goals were all great in their execution and build up play.

I've heard a few people say that the 6 wins on the spin are great but look at the opposition. All I'd say to that is that the prime Nuno side (the best team we've had since McGarry's Wolves) didn't achieve that and it was last done under that great McGarry's side.

Brilliant stuff!!!

Job done... 20 pts clear of the relegation zone with 4 games to go. 6 wins on the trot. Utterly incredible.
Leicester were utter shite. We should have won by more. Cunha's quality simple shone like a beacon today and he's my MOM although Andre was also excellent. Penalty decision was a joke but well done Sa. Congrats to Vitor and the team. Simply astonishing turn around. Happy Days!
I don't know why but I turned to watch the penalty incident live on the big screen, never done that before. My instant reaction watching it in real time was to say stonewall penalty.

I've not seen any replays yet, the big screen offered a better view than from row N of the South Bank.

Sa came out to narrow the angle then stopped. Vardy actually kicked out at Sa and then hit the ground. There was a great replay looking towards the goal that shows him cheating to win the pen. Really pleased he missed it

Not read the rest of the thread so apologies if it’s already been said.
Cracking win and apart from putting ourselves under pressure for a period in the second half, as comfortable as it gets in this division. Annoyed with the officials for allowing their thrower to be a yard on the pitch for each long throw in, not giving a booking for an assault on Cunha on the touchline and the Vardy penalty. Not seen a replay yet but it looked to me that Sa had stopped and contact was initiated by Vardy. Justice done with the save if so.
Barely anyone below a 7 out of 10 but I’d give MOTM to Andre. He’s absolute class and would walk into every side in the Premier League. Cunha was excellent too and we’ll miss the sparkles of brilliance that he brings to the side. He’ll take some replacing.

I can't believe what is happening, from Banter FC under O'Neil to the form team in Europe. To win 6 games on the bounce in the Premier League when you're not Liverpool, City or Arsenal is massive. Going to Molineux is so much fun again and the dark days of O'Neil thankfully seem a long time ago.

Not seen the penalty incident back but by all accounts (apart from Alan's) it was a poor decision so delicious justice that Sa saved it.

Cunha was MOTM, scoring the first before an assist for Strand Larsen's and Rodrigo's 2nd and 3rd, 2 goals that were very similar.

Another clean sheet, 6 straight wins, up to 13th and 20 points clear - anybody looking at the table would never know we had been in a relegation battle. Just 3 weeks ago we played Ipswich in what, at the time, was still a 6 pointer.

It feels great to be enjoying games again, winning, competing and having a manager which every Wolves fan loves, first time since Nuno.

Added bonus of Villa getting hammered at Wembley, Albion's final play off embers being extinguished and Walsall losing to Accrington Stanley (who are they?), oh how all these wankers were laughing at us before Christmas, who's laughing now?

Up the Wolves!
