Wolves 3-0 Leicester: Verdict Thread

On a lighter note, many years ago when I sat in the Family Enclosure with my lads, every time the opposition took a throw in, Paul Cook would always shout, ‘foot on the pitch, foot on the pitch’.

I always record it and fast forward to our game, been doing a lot of fast forwarding this season.

Great performance. Loved the third goal, it was very unselfish from Cunha and a lovely layoff for a fantastic finish. The team looks so United at the moment, and we haven't looked this good since the peak Nuno days.

Amazing what a competent and inspiring manager can do, eh?

Fosun - please don't fuck this up in the summer by being stingy and pissing off the manager.

Leicester the worst team at Molineux this season. No confidence, no fight, no individual skill. Could, should have been more, but we were too complacent 2nd half. A decent keeper would have saved the 3rd goal.
Vardy has been a "legend" for Leicester and I would not have been too upset if he had scored against us - until the penalty decision. In real time there seemed something odd about it and on replay it is so blatant the way Vardy kicks out and initiates contact with Sa. Pre-var the refs would fall for it, but with so many camera angles and slow-mo VAR can plainly see exactly what happens in these situations. I was totally convinced it would be overturned and Vardy booked. Incredible that it was confirmed, especially so quickly. Sa does not trip Vardy, Vardy deliberately kicks Sa - a bookable offence. Vardy then goes down - arguably a second bookable offence.
If anyone can explain why VAR should not have overturned it I would love to hear.

Really, really good day yesterday. Absolutely loving watching Wolves at the moment.

A really good team performance where everyone played well but Cunha was just on another level. What a performance that was from him, absolutely majestic.

Still don't know how Strand Larsen misses his sitter, or why Aït-Nouri passes to him instead of just putting it in the net in the first place!

I thought that. Haven't seen it back, but RAN was 4 yards out in the centre of the goal!?

Can’t quite understand what’s happened to Leicester, from a quite progressive and entertaining team they are now abject, probably another example of world class footballers don’t make good managers, but to a man they were useless
As for us, there’s now a feeling of togetherness and pre-Europe optimism we haven’t seen since Nuno and that can only be due to Vitor. He has made some players, who previously we would have been quite happy to bomb, integral to our current style and effort to climb the table. We have a cohesive squad again and it looks like everyone wants to be here….including Cunha 😉
I reckon there are many teams in the prem, including the big boys, who would love a midfield pair of Andre and Gomes who again were magnificent yesterday, Agbadou is a one man defence and watching Munetsi, although not everyones favour player puts a real shift in and is a admirable foil for JSL.
The perfect weekend
MOM Cunha…..he’ll be a massive miss😐

The run from Rodrigo here once he realises an attack is on. I am knackered just watching him

Yeah he always shows so much desire when we're breaking from deep. Seems a great 'lad' too.
It's mad that a few months ago lots were saying this bunch of players were some of the most unlikeable to wear a Wolves shirt, while now everyone would be happy to marry off their daughters/granddaughters to most of them.

The miss

RAN is playing it safe with the challenge coming in and the keeper being close and diving
Strand has a mare
What was the lino flagging for here. Appalling shout from him
Chancing it knowing he has VAR to either correct or back him.

Wasnt he flagging for Cunha's initial touch?
