wolves 2 Chelsea 5 verdict

I just think we look terribly disjointed and we need to get back to what we know.

Believe me, I never thought I would be saying Matt Doherty is integral to what we do. But at the moment he is. Our two deep lying players don't have their stock out ball, our box to box (although he hasn't done much of that, the Forrest Gump bastard) midfielder doesn't have his stock out ball, we have no-one linking with the forwards.

Save us Doc. He was good when he came on tbf. Hopefully whatever the problem was with him over the summer has gone away.

I guess what I’m saying is - blame him for stuff that is his fault like defensive shape, that’s absolutely fair. But blaming him for the goals, when he did what you’d expect of him (or Doc if it were him) isn’t right.

Doc was good when he came on (minus the shit dive) and we did look slightly more together as a team. As Dan says, that isn’t to criticise Traore, but he shouldn’t be playing wing back against Chelsea.

We basically haven’t had Doc all season so if he is indeed back to his old self it should make a massive difference. Along with Bennett and Boly of course.

By looking at his photo I sit about 10 yds to the right of Dan. You can believe us or not, but Troare was all over the place defensively. You are seeing the final position on tv, not the full picture. It was open season down there.

I have no problem with general all over the placeness, he’s not a natural full back, and you have a better view than me - but you said that was to blame for specifically the second and third goals. What do you think he should have done differently on those goals?

Agree there, I’m always been a big Traore defender but there was so much space there - partly as the role Boly normally plays, bringing the ball out of defence, was being done by Vallejo so essentially we had two right sided defensive players trying to get forward continually. It left huge spaces.

I didn't say he was to blame I said that them playing 3 at the back cost us the goals. The second sees Tomori charging forwards which doesn't happen with a 4. The third the wing back with the cross

It's a general weakness and the opposition will exploit it if they're good enough. I mean Coady needs to be a hell of a lot stronger on Abraham's back stick header for instance so it's his fault in the end - but that amount of time and space shouldn't exist.

You play one of Benno or Doc and it probably doesn't happen.

Excuse me, but who the hell is his Edwards twat on the express and blah????

So, taking into account Vinagre's performances this season, we currently can't trust two of our four wing-backs to play against anyone half decent in the PL?

Timbo's replacement (they've also got Rosie someone from deepest Lancashire, apparently you need two people to do "Jens Dowe - his Wolves career in pictures" stories).

He is really rubbish. They cheap out on these things, was talking to the lads on Saturday and gluttons for punishment that they are, they've read some of his stuff. Apparently his first game was Newcastle pre-season in 2002. Now I'm all for giving kids a chance but if that was his first game, I've got 14 years on him and I'm not old. Nothing like experienced enough to be a head writer for the only show in town.

Still, these are the choices they make.

Vinagre is fine with Doherty on the other side and Boly to his right

Wouldn't mind Adama and/or Ruben Jr playing against Palace, Watford, Southampton or Newcastle (depending on form etc). That's four of our next five games.
