wolves 2 Chelsea 5 verdict

I go back to my previous point, if Coady is a bombscare and has been all season and we don't have a player to replace him then change the system

It won’t happen but I’ll entertain it because I’m bored.

Jonny is a genuine fullback. I’m sure Doc could do the job. Moutinho and Donk would suit 2 in the middle. Traore is a genuine winger. Raul and Cutrone would be a handful up front similar to Wood and Barnes.

We’d genuinely be better playing a 442 if we’re going to continue hitting long straight balls.

Donck is way out of form, possibly the worst player on the pitch in the first half.

No, I know it won't, but a shit Coady equals a shit system, he's so pivotal to it. He is so off the pace at the moment it's not sustainable. Doc is often his outlet ball, so him coming back may help with the hoofing, but that doesn't explain the cheap goals he's conceding which are having a knock on effect to his confidence and therefore his leadership.

I'd go 433 and hope Donck can break into the box enough

Problem is with Donk is he’s a career DM and we’re trying to use him somewhere else. Bit like Kante last season. He doesn’t have the ability to pick a pass, shoot from distance or beat a man. That’s not his game. But we are using his freak stamina to basically do two jobs at the minute (we were last year too).

Doc at right back? If only that had been tried before...
Different player now, a stone lighter, more confident, playing for a better coach with a better attitude. Might not work, but neither will the status quo.

Just seen man city's defending g norwich. Incredibly worse than ours today. Wtf?

It's not gonna happen, not really much point going round this after every poor performance.

Yet, go back and watch his videos before he joined us. He shoots and scores from distance many times. I kept saying he has a great shot but he just seems to be keeping it in his locker for us.

Christ motd is depressing

We look even worse in the highlights

Honest words from Nuno

Tbf Abraham was nice and magnanimous too.

Guess we move on.

I’d advise anyone to stay away from most media outlets that sports related for the next 48 hours

Dendoncker, Neves, and Moutinho never really controlled possession with the ball last season, either. We were successful moving the ball to the forwards quickly last season because Jiminez and Jota just turned everything to gold. If one or both of them isn't firing, that alone is enough to create serious problems. When that's happening AND the midfield is going walkabout AND the defense is doing whatever they were doing today... You ship five goals.

Get a win and it's all change. See are more than capable.

Going out on a limb here. I don't think Timori meant that. It's but and hope and he gets lucky

Pretty much the case with most long range efforts. I can live with conceding goals like that it’s just reaction that was frustrating it’s happened a few times in since January 2018 where we concede 2 quick goals. Forrest, Villa, Watford, Spurs, Leicester and today.

Nuno has a lot of credit in the bank, but decisions like dropping Bennett from an already unsettled defence and playing both Traore and Vinagre as our wing backs away at a decent Everton team look pretty clueless in retrospect

We are going backwards because we have forgot what got us where we were, Jesus was not the saviour in this case. It wasn't as bad as the score line but it WAS bad
