Wolves 2-2 Crystal Palace: Verdict Thread

And him flapping away with his cling film wrists then blaming someone else for the first goal is fine, I suppose.
I have no problem with him coming to catch the ball as it's in his 6 yard box, it's the fact it's another page in the catalogue of set-piece cock ups. Who knows whether the shout was late or JSL ignored him but he would have claimed it.

Then the second goal JSL decides not to jump for it and Munoz got the flick on. Okay he might not quite have got there but he would definitely have gotten in Munoz's way and not made it easy. GON just saying we have to make sure it comes through traffic before it gets to Munoz. Maybe a veiled comment at JSL.

Put someone on the back post and you at least have a chance of stopping the flick on. Basics.

Or, tell our wing backs, or whatever they are, to stay back and kill the game rather than rampaging forward and leaving gaps behind them for the opposition to exploit and then win corners from.

I'm amazed Clinton Morrison still thinks we'll be fine by May and nowhere near trouble. It'll take a herculean effort to start winning games regularly and instill some confidence and even organisation back into the squad.

He called for it. Larsen headed it. I know that doesn't suit your argument because you've had your agenda for months. Stuff like that happens to all keepers.

And yes, I agree, he makes blunders that cost goals but so do all players. As I've said before, when a keeper makes an error it is amplified. Frankly, I'd much rather have Sa in goal than Johnstone simply because he is prepared to take responsibiity on crosses. Johnstone is like a shit Patricio, stuck on his line.
It's not an "agenda", he is fucking shit.

I agree that Johnstone is less than an ideal alternative.

The agenda is that he continually gives away abysmal goals and has done for three and a bit years, because he is fucking shit.
He never touchedbthe ball, as he went to take it Larrson headed it

It's not an opinion.

If you want me to line up 20 goals he's thrown away that are objectively abysmal over the last three and a bit years then I will do so tomorrow. He's the worst keeper I've ever seen for it.

I can start with two he punched into his own net, there's 10% done straight away.

Sa makes fuck ups every week. Every single week. He is an absolute fucking liability.

I am no great statistical genius but I’d guarantee that no other PL keeper come close to the individual errors he makes. It’s unreal.

His occasionally brilliant shot stopping (a pre-requisite for most keepers) papers over the cracks for some and, even, blinds others.

Cost us a goal last week and another one tonight.

And the one at the end wasn’t a foul, he did his usual of flying out and having no control of anything. We got lucky.

I’d like to see how many of you would have been ok with that being disallowed if we’d scored it.

Sa’s a cunt. GON is a cunt.

No-one in authority at Wolves who has a clue about football

Just got back and have to say I really wouldn’t stress about this as you can stick a fork in us as we’re done in this league.
The absolute inability to just only concede 1 goal in a game let alone a clean sheet is sending us down.
The quality in that game for the PL was very low too.
To go 2-1 up with 20 to go you have to see it out by any legal means possible.
Their equaliser was so predictable to a point I just shrug my shoulders.
Set piece defending on both goals is comical, all on Sa for the first goal either shout or clear Larsen out your way is dominate your area.
The second is laughable tracking by Guedes.
Sad thing is we scored 2 really good goals, Cunha in particular doesn’t deserve to be in this side way too good.
Crowd going mad for subbing Doyle I thought he was poor. RAN was really poor regularly running into blind alley’s and being out of position.
Sarabia just a lazy footballer and no composure.
SJL is a goalscorer and that’ll do nicely but could be so much better. Thought Lemina did well when he came on and J Gomes ran himself into the ground second half.
We’re just such a poor side without the ball and very easy to play through, whoever that set piece coach was needs never to work in football again as he’s destroyed our ability to defend.
We’re a rabble at times and look so disorganised and lost.
We’re simply not going to play enough teams who’ll give up enough chances for us to stay up.

Just a reminder too that if you wanted to sit and watch that in person, in November, against Crystal Palace, when it's on TV, Jeff Shi wanted somewhere between £48.50 and £60 off you, presuming you want the luxury of a roof above your head (and even that's not a given in some parts of the ground).

It's a perfect storm that's brewing and it'll spill over soon enough.
