Exactly. But I genuinely don’t think he was ducking the issue, just giving Nuno his time because that’s what it was. Yesterday wasn’t about Jeff/Guo/Fosun/Yernited/Mike ‘the cunt’ Dean, it was about Nuno and his bond with us. Nothing else.

Not commenting much re the game as yesterday wasn't about that - thought Ait Nouri was bright till he had to go off (even if he still gets caught out with balls over the top & will need to learn) & young Fabio is getting there. Still has masses to learn, but put a real effort in chasing down lost causes & a nice assist for the goal. Jose as we know is a waste of space - one decentish cross, not a gimme, but he needed to go in hard to see if he could get something - didn't even put in a quarter effort to get there before the defender.
Mike Dean is a git, but again we knew that and where they got 4 mins extra time for the first half is unfathomable. Only 1 sub and nothing else - penalty was soft as hell, but we shouldn't have even still been out there.
Oh and MU clearly training the reserves how to fall over well as they accomplished that.

Decent send off for Nuno - would have been better with a full house though those there tried hard to create an atmosphere (either that or they were trying to keep warm. Considering we are only a week off June I have not been as cold or wet since a game in 2019 when I was so soaked had to do a full change of clothes when I got back to the hotel & that was at least in winter!

In the NB & you could only vaguely hear the booing from there.

Didn't expect Jeff Shi to be out on the pitch - it wasn't about him (you can of course read into that what you want). The end of an era - what the next one is like depends on what Fosun do now.

1. End coloniaism
2. Fight capitalism, and bring down capitalist governments
3. End discrimination by the colour of someones skin.

I went through every page on the BLM website.
I object to the political aim, I am very pro capitalism, i am also against the destruction of monuments to our war heros.

For the sake of accuracy (don't shoot the messenger), although the gesture has been widened in stages to represent opposition to all forms of discrimination, it absolutely did start out as a BLM gesture. This from CNN on 17 June 2020, for example:

I didn't even apply for a ticket, this because I envisioned being policed about and it taking ages to get in and out.
I am not complaining about Covid measures BTW, just didn't fancy all the fucking about.

Where my reservations proved correct, was it slow?

No queues or delays getting in at all, not much policing in the ground but then not much you could do as everything was closed.

Getting in wasn't an issue - had to identify myself a couple of times, but no other hold up. Went up there earlier than I normally would as expected delays, but there weren't any.

No problems getting in and out of the South Bank, loads of room in there. ID'd once on the way to the turnstile (well I preempted them and waived ID at them)
