It’s a safety first mentality. It’s also not aided by having limited options of who to play there. Arias has looked ok in some games but in others has looked dreadful. Whilst I have some sympathy for Edwards in that he’s been dealt a poor hand of cards he’s consistently playing them poorly as well.
This is why I'm not having Edwards escaping the 'poor quality' tag that the rest of the club has rightfully been attributed.
He'd be competent at a lower level but is not going to take that league by storm, he's just your archetypal average British manager
