Suicidal Tendencies - Institutionalised just came on the IPod. Reminded me that I saw them in '89 at Brixton Academy with Anthrax, MOD and Kings X (those were the other bands, we didn't go and see the band together). Happy days.

Blood Sweat & Tears - haven't put this on for ages.

Clayton-Thomas a very good front man/singer

no idea how to make it display, but this is a classic 80s thrash album. Overkill are fucking ace.

BS&T followed by some classic Joe Cocker

Such an awesome voice & a real loss now he's gone.

An evening of nostalgia on You tube (modern technology has its uses)

Did we ever look & dress like that (answer is yes & at least it gives my sons a laugh when they see the odd photos that are around of me at that time! :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool:)

That chord sequence reminds me of Vampire Weekend's A-Punk.

I was impressed by him at Glastonbury. His voice was great and he seemed humbled by the reception he got.

Who was that? Ezra Furman wasn't at Glastonbury as far as I'm aware. His whiney namesake George was though.

Cannot stand that guys voice, thought he was taking the piss the first time I saw him, skinny guy with a ridiculous gravel baritone drawl. Awful.

I hate it too. I literally have to change the station if he comes on.

Once you get past the novelty of the voice not fitting the face it's proper rubbish. Like Anastasia.
