Welcome to Wolves: Romain Saiss

I am very happy to eat humble pie re Saiss. Never thought he looked either interested or up to the pace of English football the times I've seen him. Now he's the engine in in a side playing playing fast paced, exciting posession football in a way I have never seen a wolves side play. Did not see that coming!

I think you could see there was a player in there somewhere, it just didn't happen all that often. Now with Neves alongside him and Nuno coaching him, he's a different player - long may it continue!

Have to give it to Saiss even though i like Price..has done more than well so far

and not being asked to babysit the back 4 and ping hollywood balls all over the park because the rest of our midfield are just standing around waiting for things to happen.

Saiss and Neves is just a brilliant partnership. Midfield Gods for us. And then there is Jota, Cav and of course our lad Helder to return.

Spaffalicious

When's the last time we had a midfield pair that would collectively walk into some Premier League XI's?

we are really building a tremendous squad..and i believe we could keep many of them if we get promoted, otherwise..has to be a lot of new guys i guess

If I am honest, before the premier league.

Mid seventies I would guess.

We have had individually class mids since, but not a pair at the same time that springs to mind.

Superb bit of business for £2m. Was legitimately excellent this season before he went away to AFCON.

It's time for him to go (not that I have faith in us replacing him properly), more dodgy comms from the club with both him and Ruddy confirming they're off before we bother saying anything.

Yeah, top player for us. Great value for money and clearly a popular personality too.

I'm actually quite happy for Kilman to be his replacement and Toti be the back up on that left side. It's having a right sided defender (that can also allow us to play a back four) which worries me. Mosquera should be the back up for that role too.

A real cult hero for me. Decent spells in two different positions feels pretty rare.

Hope he stays fit and in form for the World Cup as always tried to watch them since he signed for Wolves.
