Welcome to Wolves Emmanuel Agbadou

Djiga has played in the Champions League THIS season. I don’t think it’s a question of ability - more as some of the comments alluded to earlier - language barrier, new country, lack of time on the training pitch etc etc.

I don’t think lobbing him on away at Anfield when we’re chasing the game is the right time for a debut & v Blackburn he’d only been here 5 minutes.

We might well see him this weekend if Agbadou is out, or Vítor may prefer to stick with Doc/Santi/Toti.

Jeff Schlupp played in the Champions League knock out stages last night. Anybody want him here?

It's not about what we want at this stage, it's using what we've got to our best advantage.
I'd say if we need someone to slot in for Agba, then Djiga who has played at Champions League level with no glaring issues (as far as I'm aware)* is going to be a better option than an inconsistent (at best) Santi.

*not sure if anyone has seen Djiga play in those games.

It's your argument! 😂
Er, I think you’ve misunderstood my initial point. But you do you & crack on with the laughing shite, despite multiple people telling you to pack it in over an extended period of time.

You were the one that started off using Champions League appearances as proof of ability. If you're going to build yourself a house of cards then don't be surprised when they come crashing down around you.

Well, if you’re being pedantic, I said he’d played in the Champions League this season (fact), so in my opinion I didn’t think it was a question of quality (an opinion that’s hardly outlandish). He’s featured in matches against both Milan sides, Benfica, Barca and others. I’d say the potential and quality is likely there - and he’s in the early stages of his career, rather than dialling it in.

And to answer your other question, that’s Jeff Schlupp who was part of a team last night that Bayern had to get a 94th minute goal to equalise against? Yeah - given the state of our squad, he’d probably do a job here.

Matheus Nunes and Francisco Trincão have both played in the Champions League this season and I wouldn't want either back on a free transfer and £200 a week wages.

Matt Doherty still starts in the premier league in 2025. There will always be anomalies.

I stand by my original point.

Should be back for Southampton away? Misses 3 league and one cup if that’s the case.
