Trump

If it was a situation where Trump won the popular vote but lost the electoral, I'd be concerned. As he lost both, there won't be any politicians or judges who are anything but full-blooded Trumpists that would go along with him in this case.

Anti-Trump outnumbered Pro-Trump by a fairly significant margin overall, thank God.

Not sure Steve Bull has anything to do with the election tbh.

Wolfman, different time zones make immediate and conclusive conversations impossible. Anyway, I did just check out American Thinker, and tbh my first reaction was not a positive one. It seems very much in the Bill O'Reilly mode of impartiality - claim to be objective but then slam democrats in every single sentence.

If I claimed that there is a pink unicorn stood right behind you, you would not need to turn round to know it's untrue. trumps claims are equally baseless - he may be POTUS but he is also a delusional narcissist who wouldn't recognise the truth if it smacked him in the face. Discrepancies occur in every election - a recount rarely produces the exact same totals - but there is a difference between error and fraud.

The idea that either party would attempt massive fraud in multiple states in order to win an election would ordinarily be ridiculous. Yes, these are not ordinary times, so let's consider the possibility.
How? - via software. Democrats have been trying for years to improve security - at a federal level - but are always met with republican opposition and denials, since this should be for each state to determine.
Where? - in swing states. Florida??? Or previously democrat states that unexpectedly flipped last time due to a poor HRC campaign and this time reverted to their norm thanks to a candidate who can better relate to their voters.
Who? - seriously who would/could do this? Republican states give prison sentences to anyone casting a single vote they are not entitled to. This is not something that a single lone actor could do, it would need a degree of coordination, of money, of approval at the highest levels. Totally unrealistic.
Why? - trumps approval rating has never reached 50%. 2018 midterms produced a swing to the left. All opinion polls predicted a win for Biden. Why risk it all?
The only surprise about the results is how well trump performed.

Moderate republican leaders - those whose status is not dependent on the MAGA crowd - are now openly saying that Biden won,

So far, in every court case, trumps attorneys have had to deny that they are alleging fraud. So, with all the thousands of signed affidavits, there is still nothing that they are willing or able to produce in court to back up their claims - to the extent that they have had to rescind the claims.

I have never been a fan of US politics, the whole system is corrupt, and two party systems are never representative of the electors. The electoral college should be scrapped (trump would never have won in 2016 without it), but any suggestions that Biden's win was anything other than 100% fair belong strictly to conspiracy theorists (a real problem in the US).

The bit about democratic driving massive voter fraud is interesting - how are they supposed to have done that, given most of the swing states had republicans running the elections?

Wolfman, I presume you have read this article:

I see lots of similar stuff, but from a left wing perspective, all the time. The writers usually know no more than you or I but endeavour to find an explanation that fits their desired outcome. In other words - optimistic speculation.

The leftwing articles lack credibility, and I'm sorry but so does this one.

Nothing to do with Trump, but I watched a James Martin road trip cookery show yesterday and the episode was from San Antonio. Naturally they don't go to the projects or shitholes, but it looks a lovely city with great food - just very hot

Had no idea who James Martin is - so googled him and saw he was born in Malton (N Yorks). I went to school there.

SA is a military city with people and restaurants from all over the world, but the predominant food culture is TexMex. There are literally thousands of mexican restaurants here and everyone eats tacos. Not all mexican food is spicy, but texmex sure can be. It's like eating Indian food - after a while you get accustomed to and enjoy a bit of "bite". But I will not eat Jalapenos or Habaneros, and go easy on cayenne.

Latina wife loves jalapenos but finds indian food too hot. Other way round for me.

Respect to the White House staffer who got the kids furniture out and convinced the orange thickit to use it
