Traore the enigma

But we play well and it's still as bad.

I invited people to look at the Everton and West Ham threads to disprove that. Funnily enough there was no response. Because they're absolutely full of whining when we were playing superbly.
Go look back at the Cardiff thread from last weekend. No moaning because we played well.

Being 2-0 up after 18 minutes normally puts paid to that to be fair.

Thank you for taking the time to welcome me Penk Wolf. I know it's part of you job as a Moderator but it still nice to get a response. After all we all share something very special. And the older you get the more you appreciate it.

Directly quote some of the comments you’re referring to and post them in here so we can have a look at this ‘ridiculous negativity’ that has caused you to refer to people as “cunts” then.

Because all I’m seeing at the moment is a lot of willy waving and boys club back patting. You show us some examples of these comments that have got you so riled up, and we’ll have a discussion about them.

Have you ever considered that people don't agree with me because of some "boys club", but it's because I'm right?

Grow up mate.

Mind you I'm not surprised that you'd be so defensive given you're consistently the worst culprit.

anyone think traore will start tomorrow?

Last time I checked, an opinion cannot be “right”. I know this might seem difficult for you to appreciate, but people are allowed to disagree with your opinion without fear of being referred to as a “cunt” a week later.

No examples of these crazy negative comments, either. Speaks volumes. Probably because they’re not as bad as you make out? And secondly, because most of the people that make these “negative comments” are actually quite reasoned and are still able to appreciate this is the best football they’ve seen in their lifetime at Wolves (but you choose to ignore those comments which is convenient, isn’t it mate?).

You crack on with your agenda and name calling. Me and others will continue to comment on what we’re watching without having some weird complex where we can’t criticise the players or manager when/if they’re underperforming IN THAT MOMENT.

On the Cardiff thread after 10 minutes of the game you called it a disappointing start and expected more. After 10 fucking minutes! The post before you said the same thing. PLF comments we have no control in midfield.

10 fucking minutes.

Its this entitled nonsense that pisses me off.

The posts calling Nuno pathetic and not capable of change were embarrassing on the Huddersfield thread. And the FFS Costa is shameful to read every game. It isn't supportive and it's every game.

Jota was your scapegoat in the first few games of the season and it was embarrassing then. I called you on it a few times.

And a particular bug bear of mine is your lofty assertion that you and others are right and the rest of us who don't subscribe to your world view has some weird complex. This is after you've said no opinion is right.

We are watching the match live and commenting on it in real time on an Internet messagboard. If we are not playing well, it might not be an overly positive read at that particular moment. The difference being, comments of those not at the match are recorded on here. Comments from anyone in the ground are not. Why is that so difficult to understand? If I was sat next to you in the ground and turned to you after 10 minutes and said “slow start by us”, would you turn around and start crying that I’m being negative? Of course you wouldn’t. These comments that you’re referring to are the equivalent of a throwaway comment at the match. People dissecting those comments after the event and then, weirdly, accusing people of being “cunts” are the ones that need to grow up, mate.

I didn’t see any comments referring to Nuno as “pathetic”, so I cant comment on that. But Jota was not my “scapegoat”. He wasn’t playing well at the time and I called it, which I am entitled to do. You regularly slate Traore (the earlier pages of this thread being a perfect example) yet draw a line in the sand when others do the same thing to Costa? - despite most of the “FFS Costa” comments that you refer to being nothing more than the Internet messageboard equivalent of a few moans and groans from the stands at the ground when he gives the ball away.

I’ve seen some horrific double standards in my time but this thread is pushing it to a new level - fair play

Maybe we should just ban the matchday thread all together and have a reasoned debate once it’s all done and dusted?

No don't think so, will leave us too open I think.

Would like to see Jonny on right and Vini on left, but don't think that will happen either.

Oh you're definitely entitled.

I'm glad the verdict thread is split from the match day thread.

Think this is a fair assessment.....wonder how many games have to go by before we put this subject to bed?

This 'being entitled' thing is really starting to piss me off, I don't believe there is one poster on this forum that can be regarded as entitled, far from it, everybody is extremely grateful for the owners, coaching staff and players we currently have but that shouldn't stop anybody being able to criticise individuals in certain moments.
There is one thread I tend to avoid called 'The Blame Game' which I personally find crazy, analysing every fault a player might have....is that not overly negetive?

When Troare ran at Cardiff it wasn't particularly from a wing back position. It was from deep yes and from the right of centre, more like an old fashioned right sided half back. It was effective, but not something we can do when you need to think about the opposition offensively

An excellent, well measured and predictable response. Think we’ll leave it there.

I thought he started his good stuff when he was out wife and drove inside.

Not a game for him today though.

The blame game thread is about goals conceded.

I class entitled behaviour as being disappointed at the team for not demolishing Cardiff after 10 minutes.

If that's you and you were at the game then you would be called on it and told to shut the fuck up. If have absolutely no problem calling out shithouses in the ground as would at least a dozen fans who sit by me.

To be fair, if you moan and argue with people as much at the game as you do on here, I doubt you have much time to watch any of the actual match.

Do you think fighting with everyone all the time actually adds anything to the forum?

Fantastic personal attack there.

What a pleasant person you are.
