Jackett has just said we're in discussions but it's not near done yet.

Reading between the lines I'd say we've probably agreed a fee in principle but have yet to speak to the player.

The deal was agreed in principal several days ago. Barring any last minute hitches then Wood will join Wolves next week.

Kenny has said on the OS that we haven't spoken to him yet which I take to mean the rumours about the fee being agreed are probably true and talks with the player will start imminently. I don't think KJ would have said anything about it at all if he wasn't confident about it happening.

Pretty much my take on it....we'll be holding talks tomorrow but terms are likely to have already been sorted (assuming he has an agent).

Interesting. I assume its a centre back because we are well stocked in the full back positions. Usually Premier League teams will only loan a player out if they are going to get games and I can't see KJ breaking up the Batth + Stearman partnership any time soon so it'll be interesting to see who it is (if there's any truth in it at all).
