Transfer Speculation Thread 2014/15

Now talking about following a whisper that Doyle might be going to Ipswich...
Journalist rang Ipswich chairman who wouldn't confirm or deny it...

Same arguments between Wolves fans still raging on Twitter, getting in the way of transfer rumours/latest developments.

It really does get worse every year. I need to accept the fact that Morgan/Moxey will NEVER be given credit for anything, and blamed for everything in the eyes of some people, regardless of whether there are any facts or not.

Incredibly tedious.

We could win the Champions League within the next 5 years and some fans would still bang on about us dropping into league 1 and how Morgan and Moxey do it on the cheap.

Everyone on the panel were talking about Doyle to Palace... + 3 other players with Premier League experience
Then one guy 'in the know' put his phone down and said, 'It's Doyle'.

Now with all the lads off Team 3 being gone that's got to be good business for Moxey. Bit long coming, but let's see what we got for them vs their salaries.

(Hearing at the other end of the scale Rooney is on 220,000 per week +80,000 marketing and appearance rights (or whatever he called it) £300,000 per week... fucking hell!)

The level of utter hatred some people have for them is really quite unreal. I don't even know why it surprises me so much.

For what it's worth if someone does one of those bloody polls, I think Morgan & Moxey are doing a great job overall.

Falcao will be on £350,000 per week in around 45 minutes.

I'd say they've learnt from their past mistakes, which means they no longer get involved in the important part.

Just people for you, they need someone to hate and Morgan and Moxey are easy targets. It seems like they think signing players is easy when it really isn't and we should be able to go out and sign someone in the blink of an eye.

Keeping Sako means nothing to these people. We could easily have sold him at any point over the last 18 months. Pad and I talked to a couple of Blackburn fans on Saturday, they couldn't believe he was at this level.

And that is a pay cut. To match his Monaco take-home under our tax system he would need to be on £400k a week.

I remember that conversation! (Just)

They thought he was at least mid-table premier league quality didn't they?

Yep. Amazed he was on £20k less than Jordan Rhodes.

Good lads as I remember. Good job we spoke with them when we did as the end of the evening got a little messy!

Just heard that and he's only on loan!
The Premier bubble keeps getting bigger!

I'd have thought they're heavily involved behind the scenes, screwing the best deals they can.
The lessons learnt would be keeping Morgan's involvement entirely out of the public eye.
Moxey's is hardly ever in it until the deal's done.
