Today is my soon to be ex-partner's birthday. Last year I bought her a canvas with the lyrics of a Michael Franti song called 'Life is Better With You' on it. Today this is the space where that print used to hang.

Words cannot express how utterly heartbroken and dejected I am with my life right now.

Break ups are shit. I don't know all of our personal circumstances but what I will say is, where possible. selfishly focus on yourself and where you are able fill your time with things you enjoy doing and that make you happy.

Over time, things will get easier but also accept that a certain level of sadness will always be there.

Regarding Sarah Everard, I feel desperately sad for the tragedy that befell this beautiful young lady with her life ahead of her, also her family who's lives have been ruined by this loss and the harrowing thoughts of their loved ones final hours will haunt them.

It is interesting the understandable outcry regarding Zouma, yet we live in a country where blokes chases foxes and commanding their dogs to tear them up for FUN is still going on (on certain days) and our last but one PM was happy to have another vote on it being "fully" allowed again.

Too Good Even for the ‘All Blacks’

It is with immeasurable sadness that we have to report the tragic loss of our beloved Jack Jeffery following our Seniors League fixture at Berkswell & Balsall yesterday 12th February.

Jack was adding another try to his phenomenal record and during the act and subsequent challenge of scoring he was injured.

He was taken to Walgrave Hospital where he tragically lost his fight.

A more committed, loyal ‘Clubman’ is hard to find. He would often return from London for training and was always at the heart of club activities.

He served his club, his teammates and the county with distinction and provided much satisfaction to the club supporters in knowing exactly where the whitewash was.

As a club, we have been overwhelmed by the messages of support and goodwill from the rugby community. Jack was calm, respected and highly thought of.

Our club and community have lost such a bright light.

On behalf of Evesham Rugby, I thank everyone whom supported Jack in his moment of need yesterday and for all the messages of support I have received from other clubs and the North Mids Union.

As a mark of respect our club is closed today. We fly at half-mast. Please take a moment today in your prayers and take your moment of silence for Jack, his family, loved ones and friends.

I have to go to a funeral next week of a lovely young girl, aged just 17 ( my mom's Great Grandaughter). Her death came as a complete shock, which has left many people heartbroken.

Takes me back to the mid 90's when I ran a team in S London with Barclays - one of my staff (23) died in a car accident with her husband to be (25) 3 weeks before they were due to get married when going to look at the progress on the house that they had bought.

The amount of pressure I had to put on to get a replacement team in to cover our work on the day of the joint funeral was profound - in the end I just had to say that if there was no replacement crew then we weren't opening as everyone needed to be there - she was a lovely, kind individual.

This was the first burial I have ever been to, and although it was sad, it was also beautiful. A glass white carriage held the casket pulled by two white horses to her final resting place. She may only have had a short life but she has left her smile and sparkle on this earth forever.

Only burial I've been to (been to far too many cremations) was my sisters little boy, he was 6 and while it wasn't unexpected it was terribly sad. I went up to say goodbye to him in his open coffin, the saddest thing I've ever done, nearly broke me. Condolences to you and all the family.

What a beautiful place that looks. Who would have known in 2010 what those poor souls would be going through 12 years later.
