Things that make you SAD thread.

Sad news Lycan - hopefully your other friend pulls through, though seeing as how he will be the only survivor will need a lot of support.

Mrs is watching 'Strictly' in the other room (no, that doesn't make me sad) the fact that 'Going Underground' is the tune some 'Cupple' are ballroom dancing to does.

Indeed. I drive home through Ibstock every day and cross over Melbourne Road.

How you can never be quite prepared about someone's final days on this earth. No matter how ill they have been, or for how long, or how much they have suffered. When the final days near, it is no less heartbreaking.

Learnt today that a 16 yr old who did work experience with us this year (& had suffered with a number of cancers) died yesterday.

Lovely kid who had a great time with us & only wanted to work with children when she grew up (would have been good at it as well). Put many to shame with the way she handled the cards life had dealt her.

Life sucks sometimes

Sadly cancer has no respect for age. 16 is far too early to be taken, but I get the impression that the young lady crammed a lot into her all too short life.

My father in law passed away this morning.

No more suffering, no more pain.

Sleep tight Tommy until we meet again XxX

Very sorry to hear that. My condolences.

Sorry to hear that PPB, condolences to you all.

My thoughts are with you and Mr PPB, Sue

Sincere condolences PPB - horrible news.
