Things that make you SAD thread.

You pair are going to start reminiscing aren't you ???

'The Muscat Incedent ? '

I'm a year ahead of you pair so it's 21 years since I moved to Uni. It doesn't even feel like it was that long ago, I remember it clearly!

It freaks me out that the time between me moving to Uni and now is longer than the time between me being born and moving to Uni! My mum died almost 3 months before I went too, so it also reminds me how I have lived more of my life without her in it than with her :(

The 1990 World Cup to now is longer than JFK being shot to the 1990 World Cup.

There's a similar timeline issue with Revolver and Rage Against The Machine's first album... :(

If we're doing timeline type stuff, cleopatra was born closer to the moon landing, than the building of the pyramids

Started my first job in London 20 years ago tomorrow. Went from Uni hours to being in the office for 8am until 8pm almost overnight.

My Father in Law went to his dialysis treatment this morning and won't be coming home. Half way through todays session his body just decided thats enough mate time to leave. Whilst health hasn't been the best in recent years this is still a huge shock. I was with him yesterday and spent nearly 3 hours talking about the Singapore F1 and a few hours later that is that.

My wife is destroyed and it horrendous to see her how she is today. I don't know what to say or do and I know I can't make this one better!

RIP Trevor. A true gentleman that welcomed me into is family with open arms.

He was a genuinely nice fella.

As stated earlier, just let me know if you need anything mate. I'll call you later.

That's awful news mate - thinking of you and your family xx

So sorry to hear that Stu, and condolences to the wife as well.

Very sorry.

Sorry to hear this kenny. Even when we know of the inevitable, we're still unable to prepare ourselves.
I'm sure your wife will be appreciating your support.

Dreadful news Kenny. My sincerest condolences to yourself and Mrs Kenny.
