Cardiff have put a £30m price tag on him for a couple of reasons...1) They don't want or need to sell him and 2) No one will pay it (and if they do, fucking happy days indeed)

No different if Everton came to us and said how much for Costa and we went back with £40m. They would soon bugger off back to Scouseland

What about when the player and his agent ask for an increased salary to match that 30 million price tag?

Good luck to them if they do....didn't say the reasons were solid ones.

(Costa is on 80k a week dontcha ya know.....so we are safe)

Deutsch's best mate and #1 summer target Grant Hanley has joined Norwich.

Burnley have agreed a fee with Huddersfield Town for striker Nakhi Wells. 5 million.

Blues have agreed £6 million deal for Jota from Brentford.

Swansea accept a bid from Spurs for Llorente.

Oxlade Chamberlain to Liverpool for 35m...

Oxlade Chamberlain to Liverpool for 35m...

Bit of a weird one that, he has the odd game or short spell where he looks really good but often spends a lot of time looking pretty useless, not really sure what his best role might be.

Having said that though I could see him doing alright under Klopp, could see him being similar to Wijnaldum alongside Henderson as someone with bags of energy, can run with the ball fairly well and isn't afraid to do their bit defensively. Not sure what his long term prospects are like though with Keita arriving next summer and Henderson cemented as captain, leaves him battling with Wijnaldum, Lallana, Can, Milner and whoever else for that last central midfield spot.

Classic 'Arry -
Alex Song is reportedly close to signing for Harry Redknapp's Birmingham.

Just seen that stoke signed wimmer from spurs for £18m! Fucks sake!

crazy market innit...

Wimmer's a good player. No shame in not being able to dislodge Vertonghen or Alderweireld.

Yeah Wimmer is ok and that's reasonable enough value for a PL centre half.

My question is why Stoke need another one when they already played all of Shawcross, Martins Indi, Zouma and Cameron at the weekend.

Arsenal apparently bid £92m for Lamar (sp?)
