Didn't know TTL had that much money behind them, £5.2m in wages per year on one player at this level is just stupidity especially one who will retire in about 2 years.

Leicester looking to sign jonny evans from west brom. Looks like they want to change huth & morgan.

Blues reportedly willing to offer 100k a week. Hello bankruptcy.

that is just plain stupidity..when will some football clubs ever learn som basic financial skills..

Sounds like TTL are putting all their eggs in one basket and Banking on Arry to get them up, I'll guarantee if blues are sat about 15th towards the end of the season I'm pretty sure he'll leave.

Redknapp spending money the club doesn't have...I can't believe that

If they are not up there then Harry will walk before the season end - won't want to be associated with failure (spurious health reasons would be my suspicion)

As to the latter comment - should always learn from history

I think it was a bad knee at QPR and it meant he couldn't stand on the touch line anymore.

He will blame it on the fatigue caused by driving up to the Midlands most days

He's got Bondy Bond to do that for him.

Quite clear when he agreed to take the job that they would be giving him money - he isn't going to take a job at the age of 70 where he'd have to scrabble about for cheapo bargains. I'm not sure they'll have wanted him to wang it all on wages for ancient players but hey, it kind of goes with the territory.

Yep, he'll have a decent budget as Zola did in January, but he couldn't spend it because try were too far down the table at that point to attract anyone of the calibre they were looking for. Stockdale is a great signing and if he's gone to the Championship ahead of the Prem then it's a glass house we can't exactly throw stones from Keen, Thomas, Curle, Daley, Froggatt immediately spring to mind. Terry is different though it's either deluded or just a PR stunt. He'll get the same money in the Prem playing for Bournemouth or if he wants a bit of glory in the Championship Villa is a better option for him.

I think JT would be decent at this level but surely 100k per week would be better spread across 3/4 players!

Raiola is a fucking cancer on the game. Not happy with his £40m odd of fees from the Pogba deal, he's now got inside Donnarumma's head, who's set to leave AC after rejecting a new deal.

Genuine question, what makes him worse than Mendes?

Nolito told he has no place in Guardiola's plans at City.
