Ridiculous wages aside, I'd love JT here and he will clearly improve blues backline substanitally, no matter how much we scoff at it.

He's still good enough to play at the top end of the PL in my opinion.

Looking at the top 6 which back line could you see him fitting into.

Klaasen is an absolute coup for Everton. He'll get a move immediately if Everton don't get UCL football for 2018/2019.

agree he is still quality, a bit slower now though but tons of experience and a winners head(should still play in the PL of course but not sure of the top PL)..still not 100% a fan because of the sex scandal of Wayne Brides girlfriend..very good player though

Elsewhere looks like Everton are signing Niang. Not sure why they're bothering, I wasn't at all impressed with him at Watford.

When I watched him a year or so ago for Milan he was brilliant. He looked ok a couple of times for Watford but not much more, maybe Koeman thinks he can get more out of him.

Everton spending some serious money. I saw an interesting stat that Lewis Baker had similar goalsoring stats (I know) to Klaasen last season. I would really like someone to give him (Baker) a chance, really talented.

Watford are getting close to a £5m deal for Derby's Will Hughes

Fucking Watford though.

I suppose he has had a bad injury but this is a guy I really rate. Saints/Everton should be in for him. He's class.

I guess we'll finally found out if he's as good as lots of people have been saying.

Not that popular with Derby fans. Goes missing too often and associated with a team that's choked a couple of times. Personally I think McClaren played him too deep, I don't think he's a number 4.

Manchester United? Arsenal? Any of the clubs in the top 12 last season? He's still got another year in him, reckon Birmingham must just be trying their luck on a two year contract.

Just 'arry looking for some car window interviews. Spoke to a lad at work who's a blues fan and he's serously concerned that 'arry's gonna lead them back to financial ruin.

Growing talk that Dani Alves is on his way to City.
