He's decent, but not on the level of Sane, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero who are his main competition. I listened to a good podcast with Marti Perarnau who reckons that Guardiola will want 6 players competing for the front three positions, and that Nolito and Iheanacho would leave and Silva (Bernardo) would be more of a central midfielder.

Are the Sanchez rumours still going?

get Iheanacho in then as a pocher Jeff Shi ;)

Saw something earlier saying City wanted £25m for Iheanacho, good luck with that.

big clubs, hugh fees..always like that..that is a bit ridiculous though

He's a decent finisher but not sure he's got much more than that about him. Agree with Mark though can't see anyone bidding anywhere near £25m for him.

West Ham might, they're desperate for a striker.

Elsewhere looks like Everton are signing Niang. Not sure why they're bothering, I wasn't at all impressed with him at Watford.

Harsh! He's not a world beater by any means but he's quite tidy.
He just doesn't seem to do anything particularly well, he's not woefully bad but he doesn't excel at anything. £25m is still a significant investment and I don't see anyone spending that on someone who doesn't appear to suit any role to any great extent.

Apart from a goalscorer..isn't that one of the two biggest thing in football..not conceding many is the other one..

Didn't Mazzari play him out wide?

He doesn't strike me as being an out and out goalscorer though, he's got decent figures for City but it's very unlikely he's going to end up anywhere that would provide as many chances.

Davy Klaasen on his way too.

Barkley's a goner then.

Genuine question, what makes him worse than Mendes?

I'm no real fan of Mendes either - they've equally got plenty of question marks against some of their actions.

Mino just tends to drum up this sort of shite with his high profile players every summer. Six months ago this lad was proclaiming how he dreamed to be the Milan captain and be their new Maldini, and now...

I mean goalscoring chances rather than chances to play, he could play every minute at somewhere like West Ham and not get as much put on a plate for him as he's had as a bit part player at City.

Seems like they stuck to their word on that one, kept saying they'd look to shift him on if he wouldn't sign a new deal. Not like he's really pushed on and looks irreplaceable either, so can't really hold the club to ransom. Seen them linked with Sigurdsson too who I think would be a massive upgrade on stroppy Ross.

Ridiculous wages aside, I'd love JT here and he will clearly improve blues backline substanitally, no matter how much we scoff at it.

He's still good enough to play at the top end of the PL in my opinion.
