Bernardo Silva is in Manchester, supposedly securing a deal with City.

Aguero, Jesus, Sane, Sterling, KdB, Silva and Bernardo.

Blimey - quite how you fit them all in I do not know!

Long term replacement for David Silva I'd say.

Imagine he'll play from the right to start with.

Doesn't bode well for Sterling as Sane is clearly (and quite rightly) Pep's new lovechild on the left.

He'll still get gametime, Navas played enough this season. That's the way to do it tbf, sign someone who is potentially better than the existing first choice, demote him if it all works out, get rid of the current shitty bench option.

Going to depend game to game probably, if they want to play more on the break then you pick Sterling, Bernardo isn't especially quick from recollection?

Yeh, that is true.

He's definitely not the quickest. As you say, he's very similar to David Silva. Immaculate close control and dribbling ability, but he's not Sterling or Sane on the pace front.

Mendy is seemingly on his way too and Kyle Walker continues to be linked so that would compensate for any lack of pace on the flanks! Frightening.

They could conceivably have a matchday squad of something like this:

New GK, Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Mendy, Fernandinho, KdB, Silva, Silva, Sane, Aguero

Gunn, Stones, Kolarov, Yaya, Gundogan, Sterling, Jesus.

Wow.

Would still need a couple of centre halves, you can't trust Kompany's fitness and Otamendi is shit.

That is crazy. I think he is a perfect fit for Pep.

Agree. I think City are managing Kompany far better now, as Guardiola has been quite patient with him but you can't rely on him. him and Stones has all the makings of a top partnership I think too. Otamendi is shite. Think Stones did really well this season considering he has played alongside that idiot for most of the season.

City and United are going to be incredibly strong next season, and yet I don't think you can absolutely guarantee both will finish in the top four just because of how difficult it is every year now. Liverpool and Chelsea are going to spend big this year too and Spur have got such a fantastic team too. I think everyone (myself included) thought this year was going to be amazing because of the managers that came in but its taken a year for people to develop their teams further and next season could be the biggest for a long time

What's going on with the double posting Nando? Seems to be happening to you a lot lately.

Internet at work is fecked and I keep forgetting to switch the wifi connection off when posting. Some issue with static ip addresses apparently. Trying to delete them as quick as possible when I clock it.

Were about to ask the same
