I see BBC Football are still gaining opinion from the 'Football Manager computer game expert' on transfer deadline day... what a world we live in (and what a ridiculous idea).

SSN loving the Football Manager stats today.

Walsall have allegedly accepted a bid from Bristol City for Tom Bradshaw. Time to hijack that one?

Pantilimon must be off his rocker if he thinks moving to Watford is a great career move. Gomes has been brilliant for Watford this season.

Peterbrough make their new signings take their own photos:

Stoke signing Giannelli Imbula. What an amazing signing that is!

Steven Fletcher apparently in talks with Marseille.

Wonder how long this recent trend of British players going abroad will last? None of them seem to have been very successful, Joe Cole and Barton both seemingly did alright in France but Ashley Cole, Chalobah and Morrison seem to be finding things a lot tougher in Italy.

Seems rather surprising that Cole didn't work out at Roma in similar fashion, always very good defensively so you'd have thought he'd have been fine with the often more restrained football in Serie A.

I wonder if it's just a culture thing that they don't really fit in very well or whether they're just not upto the mark tactically for what managers want over there.

Wasn't there a young Scottish lad went to Portugal a while back? Has he come to anything or is it still a bit early for him to be making much of an impression?

Ryan Gould? He's playing for Sporting's B team, doing quite well apparently. He's only 20 so lots of time to break through.

Remember that the photo with Cole about a foot away from the rest of the team?

That's the one, remember him being fairly young so always likely to take some time to settle in over there and work his way into the first team of a bigger club.
