Liverpool looking like going even more open than last year at this rate, it'll be bad enough fitting Lallana, Sterling, Coutinho and Sturridge into the team with little defensive cover and that's before Suarez get's back involved.

They're going to get humped in Europe. They'll still roll over the bottom half of the PL 80-90% of the time, but meh.

Rodgers isn't as tactically switched on as the mainstream view would have you think. Ok, Glen Johnson was dismal against Palace, but 1) you don't have to pick him and 2) it was awful game management by Rodgers. Piling forward for a set piece at 3-1 up FFS.

I like Lallana, but I'm nowhere near convinced he's worth that much. He benefits from being under the 'young player for England' label when he's 26.

Southampton will be OK, they can play Clyne at left back and Chambers at right back and they're still stocked with talent in central midfield. Schneiderlein and J-Rod are the ones they need to keep hold of.
