southampton are in free fall, they need a pretty big signing now..not easy to attract players now when the teams best players are all departing..

Lukaku signs for £28 million. Must be hard for Everton to compete with such a small budget.....

How Chelsea get their fees is beyond me. Lukaku plus £4m for Costa. Incredible business.

Well over £100m inside six months or so for Mata, De Bruyne, David Luiz and Lukaku - none of whom the manager wanted.

Decent signing, apparently the option to sign him permanently next year too. Looked streets ahead of Villa's other defenders last season - not a difficult task I grant you.

Ipswich have completed the signing of striker Balint Bajner on a one-year deal. Mick McCarthy must have developed his foreign scouting network, never heard of him have you?

Yeah - he was our manager for 6 years or so.

A quick hunt around;
Played for Liberty Oradea from 2007/10 in Liga IV and scored 7 in 25 League games
Loan Spell at West Ham in 2008/09 and didn't play a league game
Loan Spell with Honved in 2009/10 scored 3 in 13 league games
Moved to Honvéd for the 2010/11 season and got 4 in 12 League games
Moved to Sulmona from 2011/12 in Serie D and scored 11 in 18 League games
Transfer to Borussia Dortmund 2012 and played 1 game then shifted down to
Borussia Dortmund II in 3 Liga and scored 9 in 49 League games
Awsome starts, almost as good as Maierhoffer

Albion are back in the market. Apparently they are after Seferovic from Real Sociedad. Irvine is certainly shaking things up at the Hawthorns.

I imagine the signing of that left back from Madrid has moved Azpilicueta back over to the right and allowed Ivanovic to be considered a centre half again, plus they signed that lad Zouma in January but he was on loan with his former club for the remainder of the season.

Or Lukaku for Fellani. Not a bad swap.

Have Chelsea replaced Luiz yet?

They bought Zouma last season and now have a choice of Ivanovic/ Terry/ Cahill and Zouma as their centre backs with Kalas gone on loan. That's a mean back line. Not sure they need to replace Johnny-play-station

Bertrand to Saints for the season. Not convinced by him at all as yet

Albion fans were not over impressed with Irvine's appointment. I wonder if they feel a little more confident now.

Why? They haven't seen the team kick a ball in anger yet. As Kenny said it's Terry Burton doing the buying not Irvine.
