He's English but has come through Sporting's youth system. Looks decent from the bits I've seen of him. Miles better than Dawson/Kaboul anyway.

Sounds good, they need to improve their defence.

99% sure it's fabricated rubbish but Metro claims Liverpool are going to put a £10m bid in for Martin Ødegaard.

While writing 99% became 99,99% sure :)

His dad is a Liverpool fan tho,so who knows.Highest fee from Norway was Carew to Valencia around £7m.

Lampard going on a 6 month loan to Man City, according to the Daily Mirror. :)

Real Madrid are very close to signing Falcao, Real want to check that the striker has fully recovered from his knee injury. [L'Equipe]..

Where the hell would they play him? Presumably Benzema would have to make way?

PSG will buy Benzema if Cavani goes.

I quite like Benzema but he misses way too many chances for a real top level forward.

Falcao is a pure poacher. A superb one at that, but Karim works brilliantly with Ronaldo and Bale by dropping off and making space.

--------------------------Falcao

--Bale-------------------James--------------Ronaldo

shiiiittttt

If Falcao goes - and James already has - I think that shows the limitations of the Monaco project. The league just isn't strong enough to attract/retain the top stars, and no-one at the real top of their game wants to play in front of paltry crowds at Monaco every other week. At least PSG draw in 50k gates regularly.

Plus the Monaco owner's wife took him to the cleaner's in the divorce settlement. :)

To be fair, it was their own dumbshit decision to fill the stadium with luxury boxes and not much general seating.

Haven't read the last few posts so apologies if this has been mentioned already. Apparantely Liverpool have bid for Dani Alves.

As if I needed more reasons to despise Liverpool...

What solidity he'd bring...

At least he (Alves) offers the offense half of fullback play. Johnson and Flanagan offer neither half.

Not really, he gets in the positions but his crossing is woeful half the time, roof of the net specialist.

Alves is a weird one. Sometimes does something special but can also fail to complete the most simple of tasks.

Harsh on Flanagan there Alan, I like him.
