He would however quite easily get into City's team (he is better than Navas and Nasri) and they are desperate for homegrown players for CL purposes.

Yeah City could well be his destination, he'd be a starter and a good chance of a trophy or 2 each season

He should go to city rather than chelsea for me..he would be nailed on starter

Fewer* goals, surely?

It seems that Manchester United are also interested in Sterling, but I would doubt very much that Liverpool would sell him to United.

Unnamed English clubs apparently in for Chicago Fire keeper Sean Johnson. Doubt it's us but I'd have him here as IMHO he's at least as good as Ikeme and younger.

Chelsea have bid for FC Tokyo striker Yoshinori Muto in what is a pathetically transparent move to sell shirts in Japan.

Zlatan rumored to be in talks with Roma.

Not much there that I'd really be interested in that we could realistically attract. Knockaert and that's about it.

Where do you get that from? I'm not sure how accurate that is

There are several on that list that are hot prospects at their clubs (George Green, Michael Doughty, Omar Rowe, Adam Armstrong, James Wilson, Remi Streete, Jon Flanagan, Maitland-Niles, Luke Garbutt, Chris Long, Adil Nabi) that they would just let go for nothing

I'd have Marney to be honest if we were to continue playing 442.

Plus a lot of the youngsters I mentioned above I'd be thrilled to have.

Obviously there will be a few who have since signed new contracts notably the Everton youngsters you mentioned.
Chris Long looks an exceptional talent as does Luke Garbutt.

If we don't go up I would love to have him on loan, done quite well for Brentford actually. Him and Ryan Ledson would be great for us.

Yeah, but as you say those clubs aren't just going to release them, they wouldn't be free even if they turned down contracts and given how highly they're rated they'd probably have better offers than Wolves.

Marney's out injured long term.

Yeah, I was thinking more of a loan deal rather than anything in areas we need to strengthen

Didn't know that, was wonderinh why Arfield (who really impressed me) was playing in the middle.

I would sign Ben Amos, and he could be my first choice selection next season.

Huge amount released by Man City this summer I would think Scott Sellars will be giving Kenny Jackett his inside knowledge on any potential signings among them.
