The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Just been told by my boss I'll be heading out to Columbia late March and visiting a new facility in Bogota.
What's the deal with this spelling of the country? Genuinely, no sarcasm.

Thought you were off to NC's southern neighbor...

Bogota's supposed to be brilliant tbf, my company has an office there and everyone who goes down raves about the city.

I see it written with a U somewhat regularly on UK sites so you aren’t the only one!

I finally (after years of anxious buildup) found the nerve to get my ear pierced.

Probably doesn’t sound like much but even such a little victory over my anxiety is Augean for me. Today was a good day.

They do get very addictive, very quickly, my sister paid for my 1st one, as she thought i was too "chicken" to get one. Few years later, 2 sleeves!!

Tattoos are the next on my list. Something about those needles seems less scary to me because the piercing action is… less obvious, I guess.

There was a lady getting one done when I was in for my ear and the whole gadget is quite intimidating, though.

I have a wolf on my chest. It was the first Google image for "wolf" :ROFLMAO:

And my name on my arm I got when I was 16

No regrets

7% payrise.

Company is doing things properly too. Especially in the current climate.

Colleagues 10%
Me 7%
My manager 5%
Their manager 3%
Talking of which, today is my 1 year anniversary at my 'new' company' 1 year perfect attendance with a meeting about a pay raise too
