Don't get me wrong, I'm no professional when it comes to fishing and have only recently started going, but I do enjoy it even though I'm a ' girl' . There is something rather peaceful and relaxing in getting yourself set up in a beautiful setting along a river bank somewhere on a lovely sunny day. Sometimes you catch your dinner , and sometimes you don't. You can do lots of thinking sitting there, or read a book,or just sit in the peace and quiet and just enjoy your surroundings and the wildlife.

I have even got used to seeing live bait in the fridge and don't scream like a girl anymore at the thought,but I still haven't gutted my catch yet, I leave that for some one else !

I suppose fishing is classed as something a man would enjoy doing more than a woman, but then I'm not your ' normal ' woman !!

I love to fish, when we were back in the UK i'd fish all the time.
Over here is a lil more difficult due to work, but I recently went out brought 2 whips for my kids and 3 rods and have even got my sister to post me some fishing gear back from the UK
