Spent a big chunk of the day with my little family at Himley Hall. Beautiful day, beautiful girls, perfect!

Had the best day at London comic con with micro. Met dave prowse, Jeremy bullock (boba fett), Peter meyhew (chewbacca), kenny baker (r2d2), and loads more. Tremendous stuff. Just gutted I missed a shot with cigarette smoking man William b Davies. That would have been the topper. Geek tastic day.

Only thing that pissed me off today was Peter dinklage. Want an autograph with dave prowse? Standard charge, and he does photos, have a chat, he can't do enough. Brilliant. Dinklage - double the cost. No personalisations. And then if you want to attend the audience with dinklage it is another thirty quid on top. Per person. He wasn't leaving comic con poor. The hoff wasn't cheap either but you got a photo in his Michael knight gear and with kitt so I could have lived with that, but dinklage took the piss.

It's sad that someone is that desperate for money he would do that to his fans.

Tyrian lannister probably has plenty of cash. A lot of the Star Wars actors there don't. I know hammill got 100k for the first film. Pretty sure Harrison ford had the same. It was Alec Guinness who negotiated two per cent of overall profits on the franchise to be obi wan. Clever boy.

I'd imagine Dinklage has those measures in place to weed out anyone who simply wants to make fun of his dwarfism.

Can't see that. Used to dwarfism at comiccon. Kenny baker has done these things for nearly forty years.

I met Kenny Baker in 2001 - we were at our uni hall ball and he was at a charity function in the next room. Really lovely guy - I got his autograph. He constantly took the piss out of himself.

My boy has just started getting into super hero comics - he gets the marvel fact files every week as a bit of a head start to knowing all the supers and their powers/ alter egos etc. much more fun for me than Thomas the tank engine and skylanders.
