Every so often I get a craving for one, and one is all I need to last me another 6 months. Enjoyed it though

They do/did a vanilla donut that I loved. Haven't had one for a while, & dunno if they still do them.
There was a massive choc chip biscuit thing they did when I was a kid which I loved. Can't remember the name but they don't appear to do them anymore.
Their egg custards are bostin' an' all!

Cant eat egg custard anymore, reminds me of the old folks home I used to work in.Poor buggers had egg custard every day. Cant even stand the smell now !

Funny how things put us off stuff.
I can't stand the fucking Verve, as pissed cretins used to put the same 3 songs on repeatedly in the pub I worked in when at uni.
That & I find ashcroft to be a complete twat!

I cant stand the smell of Pernod, as I thought I was gonna die one night from drinking too much of it when I was 18.
I also cant stand to see porridge in a pot, reminds me of me job when i was 14 and every Sat & Sun morning I had to clean these huge fucking pans that had had the porridge cooked in 'em. Old folks homes have scarred me for life !!

On knowing that Mr Penguin isnt around, there is no public transport, and that although there is a spare car in the garage but I cant drive it, the thoughtfulness and caring from my neighbours goes beyond words sometimes.

have been thinking of getting me one of those slow cookers..mostly use my pressure cooker to get food done fast and moist..is it a good thing to get?

Love mine, never had a meal turn out bad yet, meat falls apart, the slow cooking brings out immense flavours,Stews are just gorgeous, and Chilli's are cracking. I certainly wouldnt be without mine.

Cant wait to try this curry tonight, its been on slow for 4 hours , about another 3 to go . The secret is, do not keep taking the lid off. Just leave it alone to to its job
