The things that I really, really like thread...

Should be illegal, Susan.

Frankfurt is a different bracket, I'm sure it's actually possible to have a decent experience there, it's just that if it's anything other than a straightforward in and out job, you're in trouble. Everything is fucking miles away from each other. If you're changing there with any kind of a tightish turnaround then it is a total nightmare.

I also flew back through there (Hamburg-Frankfurt-Birmingham) about three months after 9/11, got stuck going through the same queue to departures as a flight to New York and the security checks were ridiculous, nearly caused me to miss my flight completely.

So should calling me ' Susan ' ! :)

Not been to Leeds/Bradford but apparently it's notorious for high winds fucking everything up.

Manchester airport used to be really shit 20 years or so ago but it's ok now.
I use Manchester regularly and it's not that good tbh.

That there are still kind people left in this world.

Acts of kindness, big or small, they all count :)

So had the big meeting with the new quality manager yesterday, 22 people from the department all sat down and 21 of them all full time individuals with me being the only contract guy.
Lots of changes in the department which will no doubt piss a lot of the full time people off, but she did mention that "Ray will be onboarding soon" which was nice, in addition to taking over plant engineer duties for the whole plant in addition to launching 2 new programs, 1 being Cadillac and the other BMW!

Nice one Ray, nice to see you getting them feet under the table :)

Know what I meant to ask you, have you ever tried B&M Brown Raisin Bread in a can? If you like UK's malt loaf it's very similar to this. Think you can get it from all Walmarts.

Googling the Peter Kay Bullseye sketch and you come across the Peter Kay Car Share out takes.

Creases me, no matter how many times I've watched it. Just watching him laughing makes me :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Well it didn't take them a full week before they shipped the Brit off to some far flung place in the USA. San Antonio Texas on Monday!
And bread...in a can? Bread? In a can? (Garlic bread...Peter Kay style!) :D
I do like malt loaf with a blob of butter on it, i'll have to venture into Walmart...on a side note, you tried the sausages from Aldi? (Irish Sausages! Thems am good!)

Me new Wolves Promotion Party T shirt. Looking forward to May 7th.

Orange battered chips. Unhealthy yes, am I bothered, no.

Being able to walk to shops to get some shopping, to have some within walking distance. I haven't been able to do that for 28 years.

Probably the first thing I'll be getting when I arrive back in Wolverhampton off my bike ride, then beans on toast for breakfast the day after

I've just had beans on toast :). Enjoying your photos btw, keep posting updates.

Off to Kingston upon Hull shortly. A treat for the good lady as Shane Filan is performing at the Hull City Hall.

Definitely not my preferred music, but Christine thinks he is great, and this will be the fourth or fifth time she has seen him. And on two of those coccasions, at Stoke and Nottingham, I accompanied her.

**I must remember my earphones and some Rush music to listen to...

Husband-of-the-Year level of devotion there, Frank. My sympathies.

The smell of bacon wafting up the stairs.

Jeremy Clarkson hosting Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He was quite good, which was surprising as he's usually a twat.

I take that back. He's fucking useless when folk use their Host Lifeline. Maybe his intellect is limited to things car related.
