Someone on the Mix reckons security staff at the training ground have told him Ronny Lopes has been there today. Played with Moutinho at Monaco last season and used to be at Man City.

A couple of places on Sunday said we didn't want to pay the £18m in one go (doing that activates the release clause) and instead had agreed a staggered payments + plus extras. It now seems that was bullshit and we are paying the £18m up front.

Saiss has only ever played in a back four as far as I know - different learning curve than playing in a back 3 (not to say that he can't learn how though & wouldn't put him as 1st choice for any of the positions at the moment, therefore still available to use in CM as well)

Agreed, I don't think it is as simple as moving him to LCB. He needs work playing as a CB in the system we use. Maybe an option for later in the season after some work on the training ground but wouldn't fancy seeing it at the moment.
