Did in the World Cup yeah

Not sure where Zinchenko would fit in, tidy footballer but doesn't really look like the right fit for any position in Wolves' current formation to me.

He'll either play next to Neves or even further forward. He's a CM/AM by trade.

Is he bollocks :icon_lol: he's played left back the two times I've seen him

How good do we think he is? City fans seem torn between bang average and good but not amazing - but I’m aware fans always downgrade their views when players leave...

You could have watched two random City games and seen Fabian Delph at LB. Does that mean he's not a CM?

Don't talk fucking bollocks man.

Yeah tbf I've just read blue moon and they were all saying that he's been out if position at left back.

Damn me for believing my eyes

Hopefully this works out the same as when Chelsea let De Bruyne go.

Would be a very clever signing. Probably an immediate upgrade on Saiss in the middle next to Neves, but we know he can also fill in at LB if Douglas is injured or suspended (if we don’t feel Vinagre is quite ready or right).

Plus he’s at an age where he’ll improve and we’d likely sell him for a large profit further down the line. Makes a lot of sense.

You're very close to saying "could do a job". Like when that was the best we could hope for under your mate Mick

Shush, he's stopped moaning for the first time all bloody week.

Can't see him alongside Neves, the balance there doesn't seem right at all to me. I've not been impressed when I've seen him at left so wouldn't use him as a wingback either, not that you should need to with Douglas and Vinagre to cover that position. That only really leaves the wide forward spots and I don't think he really has the same qualities of the current incumbents of those positions, he lacks their pace/drive to get beyond the forward.

From what I've seen he looks like he could potentially play a little how someone like David Silva or Mata play, just drifting into spaces between midfield and attack to link things up. I'm not sure there's really an opening for that sort of play in Wolves' current setup though.

It is also believed that City central defender Tosin Adarabioyo has been on the radar of Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo

They are also willing to sell Mangala judging by the Man City tweets tonight.

One for Deutsch...

Talk of upgrading on Saïss still feels incredibly premature to me.

We are light in central midfield. Whether you call it an upgrade or competition is moot really the point is we need someone for that position
